figured i'll post in this thread. I was sorting through my external HD since some files got moved around and this was near the top (asu, duh) I dont remember it at all so i checked it and  the art looked interesting while the story looked mediocre. I also noticed theres a 2nd season thats basically done but i dont see on BBT.

i glanced at ADB and the only groups that did it were horrible subs (ungh) and some group thats rated like a 5 with terrible comments o_O

i noticed SFW has it as 'ongoing' but only on ep 3. I thought maybe they were doing DVDs but its just DTV. Is it just droped and not updated there? Basically im wondering if any other group is doing it or if were just stuck with horrible subs. If someone else has it in the pipeline i can push this near the bottom of the queque. If not i may as well just get the crappy ones that are out

As far as the actual show goes, its rated fairly high, and i see comments of peopel being surprised at how good it is.. umm, why? What makes it so great? Honestly it looked very average to me too when i looked at it. Do the characters really stand out? is the story surprisingly awesome?

Why don't you ask SFW themselves instead of here...

They/we have a different taste than you then... or what do you want to hear on such a question...

i was just wondering if anyone knew of any other groups that were working on it or happened to know the status. From what i see ep 3 was released dec 20th or so

and i havent actually seen it, i just d.loaded it and read the description. Im asking what made it so surprisingly good for you guys.

You know, asking people their opinions on the anime the friggin topic is based on? What a crazy concept, eh?

Why did people watch Cheers? Same reason. The characters appealed to them.

The first season was really simple.
The second season started as simple but it then WTFPWNZ you with the story suddenly appearing all of a sudden and then you have this and that and you toss it around with a couple of other things going on and you got a nice story.

I didnt like the ending (was there an ending?)
its like really ambiguous and tbh the ending leaves SO MANY POSSIBILITIES and any of them would make a nice story

I'm still stuck on ep3 so I can't say much about the ending of S2 but maybe it has someting to do with the manga. The manga is still ongoing and if anyone who reads the manga and has watched the two seasons can confirm that the anime is going along the manga's storyline then maybe we can expect more.

The story left off with soo much potential. . .they can go plenty of ways to continue whatever choice the writer wants to choose

I dont know. . .I would like it if summer ended, maybe put some drama in there.
IIRC in the first season it starts off with an old man narrating "I'll never forget the summer when i was *insert age here* "
