So, I'm watching Mai HiME...

I just... don't.. CARE! I don't get the characters, and their problems. The creators did a BAD BAD job at character development. A three year old and a monkey could've done a better job than they did. But the action is FINALLY starting to take place!
Cenyin:
Hey that show was lawls all the way through and the main objective was the massive boobies! :D

And I thought the ending was fitting. I don't think I would've liked it nearly as much if it took the other route.

Thank God I wasn't the only one who liked Mai-HiME. If you really don't like it, to those who don't, we can't make you watch it, but IMHO, you're really missing out.
And, if you want a boob-fest, wait for Mai-Otome Zwei.

As far as I can tell, that's supposed to be the reaction... the set-up is bland and pulls from a lot of genre convention solely so the show can pull it all out from under you in the later episodes, so it does kinda pay off. Still, I can't say that it was a great decision, especially with how much of the series that takes up (and the consequently rushed ending; ugh).

When you get serious in an anime, or basically in a story ... you have to keep going. If you make a step back and say "Whoops, this is all a joke, folks!" or do a different 360 (last couple of episodes in Linebarrels) then you just killed the whole fucking series. Period. If you wanna do something "amazing" ... Take note of Code Geass when ...
(click to show/hide)Lelouch murdered that retarded princess. That ... was ... fucking ... epic. Best turn-around I've ever experienced and watching that on Blu-ray is so damn good.
