THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN HARLOCK
Abbreviated Leijiverse Timeline
=================================
NOTE: These dates should be taken with some hesitation given your
"take" on the Leijiverse. These are based on the reference timeline
used for the Unofficial Leijiverse Timeline, Second Edition, which
incorporates materials from all three main Leijiverse timestreams
(original manga, 1980s movie era, and 1990s to present revival era).
If you are an old school "movie" fan or a newer "revival" fan then your
dates and interpretations of certain events will probably differ from
the ones listed below. This timeline also ignores the more obvious of
the many contradictions among the various incarnations of the
Leijiverse.
c.15 The Big Bang; creation of the Leijiverse
billion BC Dominion by the Noo (during Planck time)
Creation of monopole ore
The first Descendants of the Twisted Rope bring about the
downfall of Noo. Construction of the Gate of Yedar
inside the Hourglass Nebula.
Construction of a city on the surface of the Rainbow Planet
in the Ulysses Nebula.
(NOTE: Aside from the Gate of Yedar, the ruins on the
Rainbow Planet are the oldest known surviving construct
in the history of the Leijiverse).
c.5-2 The known universe is dominated by the Elder Race, the
billion BC oldest documented corporeal intelligence in recorded
history.
c.4 The surface of the primordial Earth is deluged with water
billion BC from a close encounter with the rogue pelagic planet
Aquarius. From this encounter the seeds of life on Earth
are planted.
c.650 The Nibelungen are banished from Valhalla after a failed
million BC revolt led by Alberich, brother of Meeme.
c.150 The Mazone pay their first visit to our Solar System. They
million BC establish temporary bases on Mars and Venus at the time.
c.98 The Kanto Basin in Japan is created by a large meteor
million BC strike.
c.26 A Nibelungen colony is established on the legendary lost
million BC "fifth planet" in our Solar System.
c.10 The Servants of Noo are successful in bringing about the
million BC downfall of those Descendants of the Twisted Rope who
imprisoned their master aeons before.
c.8-5 The Guardian Spirit of Akwaa, servant of the now-ascended
million BC Elder Race, determines that Earth has the greatest
potential for humanoid life in the known universe. Humans
are taken from Earth and seeded on eight other worlds in
the Milky Way. From this effort comes the Nine Daughter
Races of the Elder Race, of whom humanity is but one.
A group of humans is transplated to the planet LaMaetel and
their evolution accellerated to such a degree that they
become a technically advanced civilization within two
million years. These are the ancestors of the LaMaetel.
The LaMaetel are given a special charge by the Guardian
Spirit of Akwaa to oversee the development of humanity
Earth. Earth's humans are the only Daughter Race whose
evolution has not been accellerated or altered in any way
and they are to serve as a master template by which the
other Nine Daughter Races will be judged.
The Iskandaa achieve spaceflight capability.
The Iskandaa pay a visit to LaMaetel and have a brief
cultural exchange. For their part the LaMaetel gain
spaceflight technology. On the other hand, the Iskandaa
gain knowledge of Earth and its unique destiny in the
cosmos.
c.5 The Arishna (the ancestors of the Cometine) leave their
million BC dying homeworld on the edge of the Milky Way galaxy and
embark on a multigenerational voyabe across the galactic
void to the galaxy of Andromeda to find a new home.
c.2 Dawn of intelligent life on Earth as we know it.
million BC The Mazone return in force to the Solar System, where they
find the LaMaetel waiting for them.

Building of the Mazone base on the Sidonia plain of Mars.
Building of the Mazone base on Brumus.
c.380000 BC "The War of the Gods" as recorded in the legends of human
history. This is actually a titanic, no-holds-barred
war between the Mazone and the LaMaetel over the fate of
Earth, with the Nibelungen as disinterested observers.
c.300000 BC "The War of the Gods" ends in stalemate and truce. The
major alien powers on Earth maintain separate spheres
of influence. The Mazone agree to pay lip service to
LaMaetel's "Millennial Queen" on Earth so long as they
remain free to conduct their own affairs within their
own zones of influence.
Appearance of homo sapiens (i.e. "modern man") on Earth
c.130000 BC Appearance of homo neanderthalis (i.e. "Neanderthal man")
on Earth. This offshoot of Earth's humanity is a
genetically engineered "pack animal" brought about by
the Mazone.
c.70000 BC Dawn of Lemuria, greatest of Earth's pre-history cultures.
Not surprisingly, it arises under the protection and
influence of the LaMaetel.
c.50000 BC Rise of Earth's other great pre-history cultures (Atlantis,
Mu, pre-dynastic Egypt, etc.), all with the assistance
and protection of the LaMaetel.
c.15000 BC In a fit of spite Wotan, lord of the gods of Valhalla,
destroys the "fifth planet" of our Solar System due to
the Nibelungen colony on its surface. A handful of
Mazone and Nibelungen barely manage to escape before
the planet is ripped apart. What remains of the rubble
becomes the asteroid belt we know today.
c.7500 BC The Great Deluge on Earth is caused by a near-passing of
the planet LaMaetel. Only the Mazone refuse to help
save humanity from this disaster. Human civilization on
Earth is forced to start over from scratch.
A visiting Lugal ship helps in the evacuation of humans
from the Deluge-stricken Earth.
c.7000 to The surviviors of the Nibelungen colony on Mars relocate to
1500 BC Scandanavia on Earth. Among these is Meeme, sister of
Alberich.
c.5000 to The First Intergalactic War
4980 BC The Sanza Star System is jointly colonized by the Iskandaa
and the Galman.
The Iskandaa invent wave motion techology.
The Iskandaa develop the Planet Crusher, a moble wave
motion gun platform capable of destroying an entire
planet.
Iskandaa's fleet of Planet Crushers help turn the tide in
the First Intergalactic War.
The Dezaria are banished though an interdimensional gate to
the universe of the Black Nebula.
c.4980 to The planet Eurythmia is abandoned as the surviving Iskandaa
4900 BC join their brothers and sisters on their colony world of
Iscandar in the Sanza Star System.
The Shalbart Empire, allies of the Eurythmians during the
war, eventually collapses due to a series of Wars of
Succession. The legacy of its time on the galactic stage
is preserved in the distorted legend of Queen Gardiana.
c.3000 BC The Galman colony on Desla becomes isolated from its
homeworld due to the general confusion following both
the end of the First Intergalactic War and a civil war
over Desla's scarce resources. The survivors emerge on
the other side as the Gamilons, a hardened warrior
culture.
c.2000 BC Queen Mariposa, the last living descendant of Queen
Gardiana, is captured by the Bolar and exiled to the
planet Phantom.
c.1000 BC The Mazone abandon the Solar System for reasons still
unknown.

AD 999 LaMaetel's moon is destroyed by tidal forces during its
current pass through the Solar System. Its remaining
rubble forms a series of rings around the wandering
planet.
Selen refuses the title of Millennial Queen and is banished
from LaMaetel by her mother, Lady La Lela. Selen's
younger sister Promethium is appointed in her stead.
The youngest sister of the three, Senjoo, will assume
the throne on the next pass.
La Andromeda Promethium, now Millennial Queen of Earth,
travels to Earth and assumes the identity of Yukino
Yayoi, an ageless and blond-haired Japanese maiden.
c.1100 The Harlock estate is founded in the old Germanic kingdom
of Thuringa near present-day Heilgenstaadt.
1291 A Teutonic sea-knight named Harlock, a member of the Knight
Templars, assists in the evacuation of Acre, last of the
Crusader strongholds in the Holy Land. This is the first
time that a member of the Harlock family sails under the
banner of the Jolly Roger.
1666 "Saint Maetel" (aka La Andromeda Promethium) makes her
first known documented appearance in human history.

2957-2967 The Earth-Illumidas War
2957 Tadashi Daiba, son of Lt. Commander Tadashi Daiba of the
Solar Alliance Space Navy and younger brother of Tsuyoshi
Daiba, is born.
2959 Launching of the Andromeda (III) class space battlecruisers
in an effort to bolster the war effort against the
Illumidas. The aging Karyu class space battleships,
formerly the backbone of the fleet, are falling prey time
and again to their smaller and more nimble opponents.
c.2960 Resurrection of the space battleship Yamato by the Space
Panzer Grenadiers of the Galaxy Railways. They
completely refit the ship and use it for their own
purposes.
2960 Phantom F. Harlock XCIX graduates with honors from the
Space Defense Academy.
Phantom Harlock and Maya Yukikaze are married prior to his
departure on his first tour of duty.
Manabu Yuki is born on the planet Tabito.
Galaxy Express #162 is lost in the gravity well of a red
giant star.
The first of the Andromeda class space battlecruisers
officially enter service.
2961 Tetsuro Hoshino is born.
Ensign Phantom Harlock is promoted to lieutenant and
reassigned to the Andromeda class space battlecruiser
Deathshadow.
The Deathshadow and its sister ship Dark Victory take part
in the evacuation of the colony world of Anauld.
2962 Phantom Harlock is promoted to lieutenant commander and
reassigned as tactical officer of the Deathshadow.
Louis Drake is born somewhere in the Claudius Star Group
Republic.
2963 Deaths of Souichiro and Fumi Yuki. Their orphaned daughter
Kei attempts to run away from home by stowing away
aboard an interstellar freighter. She is caught and
imprisoned. A chance encounter with a young Solar
Aliance officer named Phantom Harlock during her return
to Earth will forever change her life.
Goro Yuki, brother of Souichiro Yuki, adopts Kei Yuki as
his own daughter.
The Illumidas begin marshalling their forces for a grand
offensive against the beleaguered Solar Alliance.
Tadashi Daiba, son of Tsyuoshi and Mitsuko Daiba, is born
on Earth in Megapolis City. He is named after his uncle
Tadashi.
2964 Earth and many other key Solar Alliance planets are
ruthlessly bombarded by Illumidas suicide squadrons.
Phantom Harlock's mother is killed during the Illumidas
bombardment of Earth.
The planet Alzorzan is conquered by the Illumidas.
The planet Tokarga is conquered by the Illumidas.
Great Harlock, father of Phantom F. Harlock XCIX, abandons
Earth for the Sea of Stars. He will disappear within
the year and never be heard from again. What is known
only to a few is that he sacrifices his life along with
that of his ship's crew and his Valkyrie ally Brunhilde
in stopping the first attempt by the Machine Empire
(in the guise of the Metanoids) to conquer the Milky Way
galaxy.
Phantom Harlock and Tochiro Oyama have their very first
encounter with the LaMaetelian twin sisters Emeraldas and
Maetel.
Kazuya Katagiri purchases the now-abandoned Yuki estate in
Japan for his own home.
2965 Phantom Harlock is promoted to commander and named as
executive officer of the Deathshadow.
Phantom Harlock meets and befriends Lt. Commander Tadashi
Daiba, father of Tsuyoshi and Tadashi Daiba, while Daiba
is serving as the Deathshadow's chief engineer.
Phantom Harlock wins the Black Collar after a fierce
dogfight with overwhelming Illumidas forces that cripple
his ship and kill his commander and many among his crew.
He manages somehow to bring the badly damaged Deathshadow
back to Earth for repairs. For this he is also given a
battlefield promotion to captain and named as the new
commander of the Deathshadow.
Back on Earth, with the assistance of a knowing few sworn
to secrecy, Solar Alliance space engineer Tochiro Oyama
begins construction of the greatest space battleship of
the age inside a former "wet dock" hidden deep below
Megapolis City.
Captain Harlock has a fateful encounter with starship
designer Feydar Zone during his layover on Earth.
c.2966 Captain Harlock's battlefield promotion is made permanent.
Doctor Zero first meets Yattaran during a brief teaching
stint at the Intercosmos University in Megapolis City.
2966 The Battle of the Castle Main Star Cluster
2967 The Last Battle. The Solar Alliance is decisively defeated
by the Illumidas on the outskirts of the Andromeda
galaxy. This action effectively ends the Earth-
Illumdias War.
Captain Leotard is critically wounded during the Last
Battle and most of her broken body has to be replaced by
cybernetic implants.
Captain Harlock's Deathshadow and Captain Torian's Dark
Victory are the only two Solar Alliace captial ships
to escape the carnage of the Last Battle.
Faust Hoshino is forced to move his family out of Megapolis
City in the aftermath of the Earth-Illumidas War. They
take up residence, like so many other refugees, in a
small shanty as far away from the ruined city as their
need for supplies will allow.
Maya Harlock joins the Earth resistance movement as a radio
broadcaster.
The Deathshadow successfully runs the Illumidas blockade
and returns to Earth. Captain Harlock's intent is to
gather many refugees as will come with him and flee to
the Sea of Stars.

2967 Captain Harlock has his very first encounter with the
Mazone.
Maetel decides the time has come to confide in Captain
Harlock about the rising threat of the Machine Empire.
She knows he is one of the few people with both the will
and resources to lead the fight against it. Harlock
promptly joins her cause.

2968 ENDLESS ROAD SSX (Mugen Kido SSX)

2968 Tochiro Oyama leaves the crew of the Arcadia due to his
deteoriating health and joins up the space pirate
Emeraldas ... who also happens to be his new girlfriend.
Even so he will return to the Arcadia to help Harlock
now and again as his health permits.
Mitsuru Kiruta, a young officer in the provision Earth
milita, is part of a task force assigned to deal with
the space pirate Captain Harlock. This marks the start
of Kiruta's obsession with bringing Harlock to justice.
Death of Doctor Zero's wife.
"Doc" Malone replaces the departing Doctor Ban as the
second medical officer to serve Captain Harlock aboard
the Arcadia. She is also the only female CMO to ever be
in his service.

2969-2970 THE CAPTAIN HARLOCK COMIC BOOK SERIES (Eternity Comics)

2969 Death of Lt. Commander Daiba.
Kanae Hoshino suffers a miscarriage and delivers a
stillborn daughter. Shortly thereafter her husband
Faust abandons her to join the service of the Machine
Empire. She tells her young son Tetsuro that his father
was killed in order to hide the truth from him.
Doctor Zero replaces "Doc" Malone as the new CMO of the
Arcadia.
The Machine Empire and its Metanoid allies begin
marshalling their forces and making preparations, both
overt and covert, for an all-out war with the Illumidas
for control of the known universe.
Tochiro Oyama begins making plans for a second space
battleship for his friend Captain Harlock in order to
have time to bring the Arcadia in for a much-needed
overhaul and upgrade. He also makes plans to upgrade
and improve the starship Queen Emeraldas so its on-board
weapons systems will finally have enough power to be
activated.
Heavy Red Bourbon, one of the most potent alcholic drinks
ever devised, is created by an unknown barkeeper
somewhere in the Gun Frontier on the planet Heavy Melder.
2970-2971 The Big Galaxy War
2970 (Jan) The Illumidas fleet is annhiliated by the combined forces
of the Metanoids and the Machine Empire at the Battle of
Delgraci. The victorious Machine Empire immediately
embarks upon a policy of genocide against the Illumidas.
Captain Harlock is forced to sit out the fight between
the Illumidas and the combined Machine Empire and Earth
resistance forces over his homeworld due to extensive
damage to the Arcadia while fighting the Illumidas.
2970 Tochiro Oyama develops the prototype for the Cosmo Dragoon.
Mayu Oyama is born on Heavy Melder.
The short-lived second Earth Federation is born.
The Terrestrial Independent Fleet is founded. Former Solar
Alliance captain Warrius Zero is named its admiral and
commands the space battleship Karyu, a relic from the
years shortly before the Earth-Illumidas War.
LaMime of Alzorzan leaves the crew of the Arcadia.
Faust Hoshino quits his job as a Galaxy Railways regional
director in order to become a Machine Knight of Queen
Promethium.
Nazca's homeworld is conquered and occupied by the Machine
Empire as relations between it and the fledgling Earth
Federation begin to deteriorate.
Marina Oki's adoptive parents are killed in the Arrow War,
one of the regional conflicts that are part of the Big
Galaxy War.
Battlyzer is found in a junkpile on a backwater planet by
Admiral Zero, repaired, and returned to service aboard
the Karyu.
The World War II Japanese super battleship Mahoroba
suddenly rematerialzes on Earth almost eight centuries
after its mysterious disappearance. Like its sibling
Yamato, it too is promptly claimed by the Space Panzer
Grenadiers and rebuilt as a space battleship to suit
their needs.
The Arcadia II (aka "blue Arcadia," aka "Death Shadow I"),
is successfully launched from a secret pirate base on the
planet Heavy Melder.
Captain Harlock drydocks the original Arcadia on the planet
Sarumakate so Tochiro Oyama can give it is much-needed
overhaul and upgrade. Kei Yuki is given command of the
drydocked vessel in his absence while he temporarily
transfers operations to his new ship, the Arcadia II.
This sets a pattern of sorts for the next few years, with
Kei commanding whichever Arcadia that is not in use by
Harlock whenever her services are not required by his
side. From this she gains valuable command experience.
Yattaran enters Captain Harlock's service.

2970 SPACE SYMPHONY MAETEL (Uchuu Kokyoshi Maetel)

2970 The planet LaMaetel (aka "Ganba") settles into orbit around
Heavy Melder as its new moon.
Destruction of Planet Promethium, the first of the Machine
Empire's Machine Planets.
2971 Construction begins almost simultaneously on the next two
Machine Planets. Queen Promethium names the second,
located in the Milky Way galaxy, Planet Maetel after her
estranged younger daughter.
Construction begins on the artificial world of Technologia.
The planet Rubiana is destroyed by the Machine Empire.
Most of the surface of the planet El Alamein is laid waste
in a fiercely fought battle between the Terrestrial
Independent Fleet and the Machine Empire. The remains
the machinery of war, much of it still partially
functional, remains scattered across the planet's surface
for years afterward.
The Machine Empire decisively defeats the Terrestrial
Independent Fleet in a battle in high Earth orbit and
then bombards the planet without mercy in retaliation
for its past actions. Millions of people, including
the wife and child of TIF fleet commander Admiral Warrius
Zero, are killed during the bombardment.
The signing of the Terrestrial Federation Treaty ends the
Big Galaxy War. The Machine Empire is now the undisputed
master of both the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies. The
only resistance left comes from Captain Harlock and his
"pirate" allies.
Doctor Zero comes into possession of his pet cat Mee.

2972 Captain Yamanaka and the Terrestrial Federation space
battleship Braves are the next assigned to capture the
space pirate Captain Harlock. Yamanaka tries and fails
but Harlock lets him live and limp away in his damaged
vessel. Yamanaka never forgets this act of honor on
Harlock's part.
Kanae Hoshino is killed by Count Mecha on the outskirts
of Megapolis City. Her young son Tetsuro manages to
escape and makes his way to the slums to live a life
as a homeless street urchin.
Professor Tsuyoshi Daiba stumbles across the existence
of a past Mazone presence on Earth during his studies
of ancient pre-Diluvial civilizations.
Tochiro Oyama is captured and held hostage by Siren the
Witch as bait for the space pirate Emeraldas. Captain
Harlock comes to the rescue of them both but not before
Emeraldas herself is almost killed in a sword duel with
Siren.
The original space pirate battleship Arcadia returns
to service. Harlock gives command of the Arcadia II to
Kei Yuki while he takes his newly rebuilt ship on a
shakedown cruise.
The wife of Boss Antares is killed in a raid on one of
Count Mecha's interplanetary estates.
Captain Wataru Yuki of the Galaxy Railways Space Defense
Force dies in the line of duty protecting an unarmed
civilian space train from the first known attack by an
Alfort battlecruiser.
Completion of Machine Planet Maetel.
Meeme the Nibelung sorceress briefly joins the crew of the
Arcadia, serving Captain Harlock as she once did his
father Great Harlock. The young space pirate is destined
to fulfill Erda's prophecy concerning the downfall of
Valhalla and the Twilight of the Gods.

2972 HARLOCK SAGA

2972 Tadashi Daiba officially joins the crew of the Arcadia
(per Matsumoto's HARLOCK SAGA; Gibson places this event
three years earlier in 2969)
The Twilight of the Gods. The Sword of Heaven activates
for only the second time in its aeons-long history,
completely destroying Wotan and the gods of Valhalla.
With their deaths passes the oldest known still-corporeal
race of intelligent beings in the universe.
Meeme leaves Harlock's service with the destruction of
Valhalla and departs, never to be seen again.
Captain Harlock rescues Mimay of Jura from her ruined
homeworld. In gratitude she swears service to him for
the rest of her days and joins the crew of the Arcadia.
Professor Daiba begins to sound warnings about the
eventual return of the Mazone. Captain Yamanaka is one
of the few who will listen to him, albeit for reasons
of his own.
Emeraldas falls victim to a mysterious illness for which
there is no known cure.
Tochiro Oyama abruptly leaves Emeraldas and disappears into
the Sea of Stars. She spends the next few weeks trying
to find him with no success.

2973 GALAXY EXPRESS 999 (Ginga Tetsudo Three-Nine)

Death of Tochiro Oyama.
Emeraldas places her daughter Mayu in an orphange on Earth
against the dying wishes of her lover Tochiro and asks
Captain Harlock to look after the little girl. Harlock
agrees but disapproves of her actions. The incident
marks the beginning of a rift between the two that will
widen as the years pass. It will result in their
eventual estrangement.
Emeraldas returns Tochiro Oyama's body to Earth and has it
buried on a hill overlooking the Eastern Sea (Pacific).
She leaves Tetsuro Hoshino's marker for Tochiro behind
on Heavy Melder in memory of her lover's death.
Tadashi Daiba, younger brother of Professor Tsuyoushi
Daiba, is killed in action during Captain Harlock's
assault on Machine Planet Maetel.
2974-2975 The Machine War

2974 GALAXY EXPRESS 999: ETERNAL FANTASY

2974 The planet Andorado is conquered by the Machine Empire.
The planet Heavy Melder is laid waste in a fiercly fought
action between the forces of the Machine Empire and an
alliance led by Captain Harlock. The survivors relocate
to LaMaetel, Heavy Melder's moon, which is firmly under
Machine Empire control.
The mining planet Daibaran, once famed for its energy
crystals, is laid waste by the Machine Empire.
Mamoru Yuki joins the Galaxy Railways Space Defense Force.
The homeworld of the Mazone is destroyed when its sun goes
nova. The Mazone begin a long journey across the dark
interstellar void towards the Andromeda galaxy. Their
ultimate goal is their former colony world of Earth in
the Milky Way galaxy, which they intend to reclaim as
their new home.
Earth is conquered and laid waste by the Machine Empire.

2975 ADIEU GALAXY EXPRESS 999 - ANDROMEDA TERMINAL

2975 The rebuilding of Earth begins yet again.
Tobacco is outlawed on Earth planetwide.
The seat of the Galactic Government relocates from Earth to
the artificial world of Panopticon as the planet turns
inward, isolating itself and concerning itself only with
local affairs.
Mamoru Yuki is killed in the line of duty with the Galaxy
Railways Space Panzer Grenadiers.
The planet of New Tokarga is conquered by the Mazone.
2976 "Wheeler" Maji's wife is revealed to be a Mazone agent in
disguise when she attempts to kill his commander, Captain
Yamanaka. The space officer is forced to kill her in
self-defense.
Maji's daughter Aki is seized and taken away by the Mazone
before his eyes. This prompts him to resign from the
service and join the crew of the Arcadia.
Acting on his own authority Captain Yamanaka sets out in
the Braves to try and stop the Mazone. His ship is lost
in the vicinity of the Horsehead Nebula and is never
heard from again.
A number of Earth astronomers, including an alarmed
Professor Daiba, note a large spherical object on
approach to Earth from beyond the outer rim of the
Milky Way. Only Professor Daiba realizes its true
implications.

2980 Worldwide famine sweeps the Earth in the wake of the
devastation caused by the failed Mazone invasion.
Death of Mayu Oyama, cause unknown.
Captain Harlock abandons Earth for the Sea of Stars. Most
of his crew eventually follow suit not long after.

2981-3025 Rise of the short-lived Afreesian Empire.
Founding of the Space Sherrifs.

Doctor Zero moves to the Planet of the Rubbish Heaps, where
he sets up shop in a bar he names the Bar Arcadia.
Captain Harlock is summoned by an interdimensional being
named Mello to help the humans in an alternate reality
make the next step on the upward path of their evolution.
c.3018 Tetsuro Ilita, father of Yukihito Ilita, is born.

3047 Yukihito Ilita is born on Earth in Megapolis City.
3059 Tetsuro Ilita is killed in the line of duty while serving
at the Pluto Observatory.
3063 Tadashi Daiba, son of Professor Tadashi Daiba (formerly of
Captain Harlock's crew), is born.
c.3065 The original space pirate battleship Arcadia receives its
third and final upgrade. The most obvious improvement is
its new Bowie knife style bow trencher ram, similar to
the smaller one first successfully employed on the
Arcadia II.
c.3067 Yukihito Ilita graduates at the top of his class from the
Space Sherrif Academy. His mother dies at home from a
long-term space disease even as the ceremony is taking
place.
3074 The mystery-shrouded loss of the Ninth Solar System
Expedition to the Ulysses Nebula, which resulted in the
deaths of all but one of its members. Professor Tadashi
Daiba is the sole survior and he refuses to tell anyone
what he witnessed save for Captain Harlock.
c.3075 Yukihito Ilita, now chief of the Space Sherrifs, embarks
upon a systematic roundup of anyone who has ever been a
a member of any of Captain Harlock's pirate ship c
