Crappy subs and the horrific Engrish are the only things which kept me watching. Unintentional hilarity is best when the source material is as absolutely shitty as this show.

Up to episode 10 and its growing on me. The Queen's boob grab is hilarious and I like the random comedy. But if all this stuff is technology based and not magic, why the hell don't they just leave the planet and find someplace else? The setting kinda pushes me the wrong way.

You should really check out Taka's release. It's really good with quality, timing and translation.

Episode 21 is so fucking gay. Naruto/DBZ-like waste of time and scene. WTB some REAL freaking action..

Finished it. This anime desperately needs a second season. Not a movie, not an OVA ... a freaking, complete, 24 episodes of a second season. I love this series. 5/5!

Finished last week and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though I can see how some poeple could hate it. I watched the Ayako subs and other then the video not being the best quality it was fine.

It wasn't just that, parts of the story just seemed missing. The tree thingy, the other world, maybe i just missed these things plus others, but it seemed like the show was progressing well then suddenly tied up like the writer wanted to finish before his favorite anime was on.

Yer had a look and the fight scene in 21 was the worse in the series.

Gah everyone says read the light novel/manga to get the complete story to anime but cant read a book on a computer screen and I cant read mangas on the computer cause my "mind" gets impatient waiting for the hentai scenes even though i know its a manga. Light novels/manga is something was wanna buy hard copies of but of cause there is no shop to buy them around and Im not getting a depit/credit card untill I get another job(limit the avenues where i can buy stuff i want,is how I save money)

Right?! What's with all the "sword clashing" in episode 21. It was completely retarded and that crap was done far enough in the past. We're in 2009 for freak sakes, give us some really action, otherwise, don't hype shit up.

I hope the studio will raise the budget for the animation in season 2, I thought that couple of the fight scenes could have been done better.

I really liked learning about the conflict their world has been through, but it ended so suddenly hardly explaining what I wanted to know, I tried looking up novels and such but I couldn't even figure out where to begin... I'd love a season 2 explaining more about the unknown and more action scenes.

Good show overall, and the engrish is freaking hilarious.
