L: Change the World
« on: June 01, 2009, 06:35:37 PM »
I was shifting through a copy of Future Anime magazine, and i stumbled upon a very interesting article. According to the magazine, Viz Pictures is coming out with a spin-off Death Note live-action movie called L: Change the World. If you are familiar with the Death Note live-action movies, you will know that the end to the movies are different than the end to the anime and manga.

In my opinion, this movie is meant for the MANY L fans out there. Me being one of them, i will def watch this movie when it comes out. But check it out. I would like others opinions on this movie.

Wow, really? It came out where I live over a year ago... o.O

I actually found the movie a tad bit disappointing. It hardly does the original series much justice. I didn't much like L's actor's portrayal of the character either, but that's probably just me...

But anyway, go watch it and you be the judge. =]

Yeah, it came out over a year ago but I guess it's just now getting licensed for R1 DVD sales.

I share your disappointment, as well. I stopped watching around 30-40mins into the movie.

i'm 20 episodes into death note and just found out about these live action movies.. L is my favorite character by far and i'm already disappointed that they made him look so emo.
