More of the smart, witty writing and scripting that made Season 1 so good, please. Medieval economics or no, I want more Lawrence toying with Horo, leading her on and then dropping the ball playfully, and more Horo poking fun at his inexperience and insecurities. more Lawrence tempting Horo with apple desserts and delicacies, more Horo trying to give Lawrence the cold shoulder while tempted by thoughts of honeyed fruit. More merchant-outwitting, more jealousy-inducing companions, and definitely much, much more conversation between the 2 main leads.
They got a great thing going from Season 1, I hope they don't decide to drop it all and become just another anime series.

Couldn't agree more with this. I loved the first season because it retained it's subtlety to the end. That isn't to say that I don't want things resolved with some finality when it comes to the true end, but I hope that they don't deviate from what worked and made the show what it was.
That said, I don't think that it'll be able to completely retain it's innocent tones. I'd say that the 00 episode showed us that the second season will focus on Horo gradually coming to a decision about her immortallity in regards to her unique attraction to Lawrence.

is what l said, l do whant them to end up together in oneway or another but what made that series so good was exactly the toying with eachother and those games of theirs, if this woudl continue to the Horo homeland l amd quite sure they would build up enough powah to just be togetehr till :
1 - Horo becomes a carpet or a scarf :o !
2 - Lawrence becomes meal :o !
in eny event, season 1 was a great success, season 2 has a huge line to cross to make it great as well, and it's easily flatened (like horos near flat chest :o ! )
mooooo, l want it NOW !

I don't think S&W will end happily unless Horo becomes a mortal. I don't like it.
Or maybe Lawrence can take up with the shepherdess instead....
'yadah yadah they produced many babies and lived happily ever after.'
Sounds cool.
