Gran Turismo 5 vs. Forza 3

Top gear is great. 5th gear is retarded. But even then, the retards are always like, "That guy can do that with that car it's so good" or "That car is so awesome in that game, it must be good".

Of course GT is going to have a larger following, it's set in a much older foundation. I, for one, grew up on GT and loved every minute of it. Forza 1 seemed very foreign to me when I first tried it and I saw vast improvement in Forza 2. I expect Forza 3 to be able to compete with GT5 but I'm not quite sure how it will pan out. GT has a few things going against it as well as the high expectation of a quality game. The PS3s have not sold well and I bet you Sony is praying for a huge upsale on GT packages whenever GT5 releases.

I do agree though, if you have a PS3 wait for GT5 and if you have a 360 Forza 3 is the way to go. I really don't see much sense in continuing an argument over games that are yet to be released.

GT5 to run 60 FPS displaying at 1080p ... not 720p =] Hook it up to a 1080p HDTV (with deep color technology) and get the HDMI 1.3 version cable (costs 10 dollars on amazon) and you'll have the highest possible graphics and colors for GT5 and the rest of PS3 games and Blu-rays. 1000+ Cars with like 85+ tracks (was it?) what else did they mention? Big game ... very big. Loving it <3

real deal IMO both suck because i try to play games to have fun. Games like GT have always bored me to death with the overly realistic bullshit. Its a game if i wanted silly amount of realism i would go drive my car.

I enjoyed Burnout Paradise a lot. I liked how you can control just about every car with it's own momentum. I think I wasted roughly 3 months of my life on that game.

GT5 is a lot of grinding. My brother plays it. I only played it for a while. I think WoW is just the game for me until Diablo 3.

GT5 is very fun, if you play competitively online it is very intense.
