Memorized the first half of the definitions I need to know for my Discrete Structures exam.

Well, I am back from the StarEast conference in Orlando.  99.99% sure I passed my test, which will mean I get a certificate and get to put "CTFL" (Certified Tester, Foundation Level) after my name on the business cards I don't have (yet).  I should find out for sure as early as next week.  This will be my first certification, so I'm pretty happy about that.  Will be a good thing to have on my resume, too.

What do you currently do Ixarku?

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

Software tester.  More specifically, and to use the vocabulary I picked up recently, I do functional system testing for a 3rd party credit processor.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

Survived the day without eating anything for 16 hours. And I was active the whole time. (had just a small bottle of coke and glass of water in the whole period)

Hmm, yeah. Was just tired and hungry as hell afterwards. I just got sucked into the technical festival preparation which is going on today (friday, 20th april).

I've spent about 35 hours on subbing the past two weeks.

15 hours over two days.

Boss.
I gave a girl my coat when she was cold.

You could tell her it's cold and ask her to coat it.

Hooray, I passed!  Found out this afternoon.  And I only missed one question out of 40, pretty good.  Was also the first one done with the exam.  Not bad for a geezer who hasn't taken any other exams in 15+ years.  Although in truth I don't think the exam was very difficult if you actually studied for it and know something about software testing.

The 'Advanced' certifications (there are 3) sound like they will be quite a bit tougher.  Hopefully my company will pay for one of those next year and I'll get a shot.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

You sound silly with your talk of imaginary plans .

OT: Blasting through 8 hours worth of work in 6 hours and sneaking out early (though lost 30 minutes due to crappy public transit).

Finishing my very last assignment/paper at my current school. I am free! I don't even have any finals this semester.

I'm sure you weren't here when we talked about what I was referring to. The less people that know, the better. ;)

actually, nah. The browser autofilled that for me ... so I can't count it as my achievement.

But it could be an achievement that I haven't reinstalled Windows on this PC for almost half a year.
