When I was 13 I became a lolicon.

Darn, you beat me. I became a lolicon at 15.

for my luck, I'm not lolicon XD (I'm loli-interested =_=)
Wiat so .. you're interested in lolis but you're not a lolicon .. what?

If I had to guess, I'd say it's akin to saying you're "bi-curious".

sumthing around there =_=

Why shy? You seem to be perfectly capable of using the language.

That's what another person ask'd me .. Sure I know a lot of English and like you're sayin' perfectly capable of using the language .. I shy because of .. what I mess'd up the words .. what if I don't pronounce that correctly? .. Mainly those are the two reasons why I was shy about talkin' in English.

Your accent is never gonna go away. Might as well get used to it.

Not completely true.  Some people DO lose their accents.. it's the weirdest thing ever.

It's very rare for someone who has started learning a language while adult to managed to speak without accent. I speak english everyday at my job and yet I don't see any progress.

May be some truth to that.  Some people seem to pick up accents more easily than others in my experience, so for some people you probably ARE stuck with the accent for the rest of your life.  But you're never going to know for sure. :P
I know for myself, I start picking up different English accents if i'm around a bunch of people who use them long enough, but I'm a terrible person and only know one language so I have NO clue how that would apply to learning a second language..

I can talk english in british accent and american, and even russian, none of the native english people could tell last year I am polish when I talked to them normally.
But I did learn english from TV by watching american/german cartoons so I guess I did not pick up any accents and over time I learned to use different ways.

Accents can be learned and made disappear, all it takes is practice.

Because we can!

Very true.

I can imitate Indian accents terribly well at this point. And when I spent sometime in England I picked up that accent too, although it's gone now :(

No one accent is more difficult to get rid of, it might be there in some capacity but mostly, you can get it to where an language expert is needed to tell.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

Its still a lot better then being only capable of remembering only bad things people have done to you and nice nature scenes :D

There are 100s of different local accents of english all over the world, no matter how you pronounce a word, it will be pronounced that way somewhere.

I hope she does not talk like Jamaica people speak english. Was watching a movie and it took me 1/2 h to start understanding what these people was saying.

But anyhow - congrats on starting talking ;)  Its a hard step to take. Beside if one does say the word wrong one can always try saying it again if the other one do not understand, but usually people do understand.

This is very true. The number of arguments I've got into about how to pronounce scone, or Primark (which is a chain of clothes shops in case you don't know it) is ridiculous. (For the record, it's scone as in gone. If you pronounce it as in cone, I will have to kill you).

Not to mention, a large portion of the American population can't pronounce a lot of English words properly anyway, and they're supposed to have been learning it their entire lives, so nobody would even bat an eyelid if someone who doesn't speak it natively makes the odd mistake.
