I completed work on my front yard. I hired professionals for the brickwork -- moving from a dull grey affair to a melody of reds and blues -- and did the landscaping myself. I've got three Japanese maples, the dark violet variety, and a graffiti mix of flowers.

My backyard is still a mess, mostly mud and weeds with one magnificent oak by the fence. I'm thinking of ripping up most of it and putting in a zen garden, hedges, and lots more brickwork.

Been so good, I got 2 anime series from a friend, and 3 anime movies from my bf. On the same day.

By "tree" I meant pieces of tree. I have a feeling they won't be growing.. Walking around on the other hand..

There's this one tree campus, it looks like someone took a chainsaw to it and left all the foliage on the ground. I walk by it every day... Highly amusing.

EDIT: I'll take a pic of the one tree on my way home if all the foliage hasn't been cleaned up by then.

I stopped removing tree damage before I killed myself.

I was examining the tree and removing large limbs that had been cracked right down the middle by the winds.
There was a very large branch that I was working away at.
I had sawed through one cracked half of the branch, and the branch wouldn't budge.
So, I had a good look at the branch to see what was holding it up.
It was held up by an overhead power line (and support cable) leading from a power pole to the house!

I stopped.

I just learned how to do the moonwalk. It's surprisingly easy; give it half an hour and you can do it too :]
