I seriously need to do something about that.

I remember what I was doing when I was a kid, I had no computer, no cellphone (smartphones werent even considered yet) and I barely even watched TV, every free moment I spent outside playing with other kids, climbing trees, kicking ball, pulling girls hair and walking on water, jumping the river, riding a bike, building sand castles, swimming in the sea (in summer) and then going home for dinner, after dinner I was not at home until it was time to sleep.

Where the fuck has all this gone to ?

What is this civilization coming to ?

I seriously need to prepare this neuro virus and kill 85% of mankind...

It's possible he doesn't like kids. I don't either, and it's not even a fault with them.
I get it, they're young, and haven't learnt lots of shit, as well as they have not developed enough to form complete sentences or carry a conversation.
Doesn't make me any less angry when I try to talk to one of them, and they kick me in the shins and start yelling.

havoc i know that feel..
For example. We didn't have snow for years. And this winter it snowed heavily.
But nobody gave a shit. I didn't see even one kid who would play outside, make snowman etc.
When i was a kid my parents couldnt make me come home. During winter it was even hard!
I pity these kids =/

Kids are like monkeys, one monkey has a banana, the other wants one as well, after a while many monkeys run around with bananas. Of course parents take blame, but it's the lack of discipline that make me angry at kids instead of their parents, the kids just follow the example of other kids, and parents do nothing to fix it, so yes kids take the blame as well, they sure don't know better. Still, their persistence in being annoying is what makes it good enough to blame them for their actions. Big enough for a smartphone, big enough for responsibilities.

If I have kids (oh the horror) I'll move to a remote area without technology and teach them to teach them to have fun without the tech, or just live without any sophisticated technology and put a ban on everything until they are 15.

What your basicly saying, is that your gonna remove all the tech, so they will be looked upon as weirdos by everyone else when they grow older, and then will be total unknown with devices as computer and so on, which is not really a needed skill to know in these modern times, now is it?

It is totally possible to give them both: Outside and inside fun.
Teaching your kids to value different skills, and give them trust and experience to master them.

Actually I should have posted this in: Things that pisses me off, because people who doesn't have children shouldn't talk about how others should raise their children. But It doesn't piss me off, it just makes me laugh;)

I grew up pretty much isolated from technology(we have a TV, but no cable/game system) until I was about 10.
Actually wait, we had a NES, but it was hidden so we didn't use it.

I turned out pretty fucked up, and a nerd, so I guess there's a lesson in that.

Lol, this is supposed to be an exergame, and it just happens to use smartphones because they're the easiest medium to get it to the kids with. They only got to use the phones for like an hour, it was basically an educational scavenger hunt, and this forces them to run around to finish it which is the point of the study.
