Sure VLC's interface is better. Doesn't mean a thing when it has so many playback problems and poor rendering.

I used VLC once upon a time (when i went through a linux phase). Then linux updated itself, and VLC wouldn't embed video anymore. So i had my controls in one window, and a separate window that showed the actual video. I now avoid VLC like the plague. MPC for windows, and whatever the hell I can find that works well for Linux.

I use ubuntu on my laptop, however my desktop is, for the moment, working. So I'm using it.

The only part of school days i've seen is like the last scene. A friend of mine insisted i watch it. Seeing it as a single scene with no backstory is very unnerving..

It's more unnerving when you know the backstory. I was happy it ended like it did though.
