Got to Nova 4 in CSGO for like a game.

Shit I'm bad.
I just played CSGO for the first time yesterday. This is cool shit even if I kinda miss the simplicity from Source.

Took the 'military placement exam', because, well...economy sucks and I'm looking into the long term.

Scored a 99.something%.
Missed like one question, and it was about some medical crap.

O_o

Recruiter was all excited, and gave me a shit load of paperwork to look at, and talked about officer training school.
Just make sure to pick something else than regular infantry.  ;)

Because we can!

Goodluck I guess.

Real advice : Do everything you can to not get shot, even if some think their is shame in running at least you'll be alive to tell them to STFU and running from people shooting at you is a natural reaction......

Edit: Better advice get a job that doesn't even anyone shooting at, near or around you.... Also crazy people are a real threat, don't let some bullshit training make you think you can talk them down you can't they are crazy. Kill them if you can and/or run and hide. ;)

Air-force + software tech + officer training school = A HELL of a lot better than regular infantry.

See above.

I was figuring it out with him, and given the whole basic + OTS + other training + specilizated training...
Out of a 4 year sign up, nearly 2 years would be various forms of training, and it could be longer if I went and got a Master's degree.
-You have to give a year or two for every year they pay for, but so what?
It's a guaranteed job, with insane benefits, and because of the fields I want to go into...

I'll probably end up outside of the USA, but it will be in places like Japan, Korea, and Germany.

Extremely unlikely I'd ever see any M.E. type of places.

Go to germany, the worst you'll find is a few dozen people with cardboard signs camping in front of the US-military bases. They are also unlikely to be armed ;)

Masking in PhotoShop is one of the most boring tools and I didn't appreciate it ... until now. Textures, smoke effects, brushes, smudges and bam. I started off with just the character. Everything else is done wonderfully by me. Duration to complete took 6 minutes to fuck around with it really quick. Hm ... not too shabby for a test drive.

Masks were one of the few things I started learning on.

Masking is going to be good with textures for me - at least for now. Masking can also be done by selection and copy/paste into a new layer, without the use of ADD LAYER MASK option.

Rode the fastest accelerating rollercoaster in the world. 0-172km/h in 1.8 seconds.

It was an experience.

I also went in (what is widely considered to be) the best haunted house in the world. That was a lot of fun.

I also had the chance to go on the rollercoaster with the steepest drop in the world (121 degrees), and another rollercoaster which has the most inversions in the world (as well as being one of those multidimensional ones where the seats spin round too). However, I (probably wisely) chickened out of those. They looked too ridiculous to actually be any fun.

Yeah the latter one sounds like a vomit comet to me!
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

Yeah, I thought a 90° drop was bad enough.

Go spend 15 minutes and cook something, then take a 30 minute break from whatever you're doing and eat it. Or better yet, eat while continuing whatever it was that you were doing, albeit only at like 80%.

My 6 page essay turned into an 8-9 page essay (don't feel like opening it) and I've submitted it yesterday ... I've used about ... 200 new words I never used before and constructed some really fucked up sensible sentences.

Now, this other teacher wants a fucking FOUR PAGE ESSAY ... someone just ... post ... a dead picture .. of tatsu. -gives up-

I proved the rule 34 false. There doesn't seam to be any video out there of a naked girl doing parkour. :(
