DISCLAIMER: I'm not advocating the use of illegal substances or underage drinking, this thread is for entertainment purposes only.

Sometimes I end up chilling at home by myself after a party, or some other random night of drinking. While in this state, I may or may not end up drinking more, but if I'm going to sit back and watch some anime, there's always, and only, one anime that I end up watching drunk.

Initial D: Fourth Stage

I've seen it two or three times all the way through, so I usually skip to the parts where they are just about to race, but for me, it just never gets old.

Now, when I'm stoned, that's a different story.. I end up watching something funny. I'll usually watch one of the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei seasons or Ninja Nonsense.

Nice suggestions. Never watched Kaiba or Golden Boy, but after checking them out, I'll definitely download them. Never finished watching bartender, but I think I'm going to download it anyway and watch it the next time I'm drunk.

It'd have to be a really simple anime, unless enjoy feeling stupid and confused. But even the anime aimed at kids can be complex, so it would be better to watch something on network TV .... that spoon feeds stupidity already. Many reality shows to choose from.

You just can't be angry anymore after watching. It's impossible. And if you are, i'm pretty sure you have no heart, or are clinically brain dead.

Edit - I thought it said Irritated... welll, seeing as I have never been drunk, I really wouldn't know, but probably something very violent like Elfen Lied, or Ecchi and fun like Air Gear.

Generally am normally drinking whenever i watch anything, but i don't get trashed at my pc so not happend yet. Some mindless action would probably suit me though

If you count parties, I've put on the first episode of Elfen Lied on my TV while trashed, a couple times. It's not surprising that drunk people have a tendency to appreciate all that blood.

me and my friends were trippin one night.
and were looking for something to watch, and i pulled out the 2 dragon ball dvds i had.
watching that shit was hilarious! especially making fun of how the show was drawn and laughing at how goku used to run around dick out all the time and bulma would always be like "to boys really have tails?". funny good times.

I got drunk a couple nights ago and downloaded Antique Bakery. I looked at my download folder the next morning and was like "WTF??".

Apparently, I also downloaded a DVD-rip of Bad Boys 2. In German. \( O___o)/ <--- That's me being very incredulous.

and sometimes Lucky Star, those to work out great with the humor, and l'm usually not alone after party, me and my girl like having something good to watch and we end up with those 2 titles, l made a DVD with selected best eps/scenes that are most hillarious in those 2 so we end up having a really good time. 8,5gig DVD that is, l don't like switching DVD-Video discs in the middle of watching anything, thats probably why l often RIP series into AVI files from DVDs and watch then in a fashion, l also usually rip out OP/ED since once you see one, that isn't changing throughout the entire series it's bothersome looking at it all the time.

Just about anything trashy with a lot of fanservice, hot girls, and classic character archetypes. The more cheesy and predictable, the better. To name a few, Magikano, Yumeria, Kanokon, Rosario+Vampire, Familiar of Zero, Girls Bravo, They are my Noble Masters, Sekirei, Vandread...

And some other shows almost required drinking. Like Code Geass R2, I instituted a 2-drink minimum before starting any episode, because it helped me tolerate/enjoy the ridiculous left-field plot twists. I shudder to think what will become of me when I rewatch it on DVD, with 4-5 episodes available at a time.

On the other hand, sometimes I learned the hard way that mixing alcohol and anime isn't a good idea. Rewatching the last 3 episodes of Fruits Basket after a long night of drinking isn't an experience I want to repeat.

None, really. If I'm really drunk I usually just go to bed. If I'm only a little tipsy then I'll watch whatever I have queued up to watch.
