I could swear there was a thread about this around here, I did couple of searches but couldn't find it. So I'll start this thread. I'm currently watching this to get some up-beats going. A bunch of people recommended it so I am watching it now ... 1080p of course. =] Who've seen this? It's a movie, just FYI.

its the best Anime movie ever made, no questions - nice characters, epic fights, good setting...just great

Haven't seen a whole lot of anime movies, but I enjoyed this one. It's well animated, decent characters, and the fight scenes were pretty awesome.

Its a good simple movie that's highly entertaining, nothing more can really be said.....except that it looks awesome in HD.  :D

Oh, anything looks awesome on Blu-ray. This 1080p video is super smooth and top notch quality.

Loved the fights. One of the nicer samurai movies atm, IMO.

I couldn't get 1080p to work with hardsubs so I had to settle for the SD version instead :(

Yup awesome action. Though I'm not so much fond of plotless violence, I really liked this movie. The figths were just too good.  ;D

Nothing is mindless if you compare it to something stupid enough.  Sword is flawlessly animated, but it brings nothing new to the genre that hasn't been done by Ninja Scroll, Zatoichi, Lone Wolf and Cub, Akira Kurosawa, etc.
