Well, as far as my search went, I couldn't find any topics similar to this (surprising). So, I'll start it.

What's some of the funniest stuff you've seen so far? Topic is for the discussion of hilarious parts in animes, hilarious animes in general, etc.

Right now, my list isn't too big (as I'm talking about things that really, really made me laugh):
1. FMP: Fumoffu
2. School Rumble
3. Azumanga Daiou
4. Inukami
5. Kannagi
6. Love Hina (mostly manga, though)

FMP was a one man show. One character was enough to make the whole damn thing just light up. Doesn't take a genius to figure out who he is, either.

School Rumble just had several hilarious moments.

Azumanga... <3 Osaka

Inukami was just outright random.

Kannagi was funny at a lot of parts, not so much at others, but it was pretty enjoyable.

Love Hina had its moments (quite a few of them).

You'll notice that I didn't list things like Zetsubou Sensei on here. That's because I didn't honestly find them that funny. You can list them if you did, though.

The latest anime that I'm following that may go on this list is none other than Sengoku Basara. I know, you may be going "wtf, mate" here, but I honestly think that some of the stuff that's in it is so ridiculous that it's hilarious. Most recent of them being (episode 6)

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, what else? It made me go 'MHHHAHHHHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' every episode, start to the end.

You should also see:
Green-Green (nice screens of fishing, three bears, supreme attacks and hot fever $:-\$ )
Golden Boy anime (the manga is to porn and odd)
Great teacher Onizuka (especially the manga. he is a good roll model for students

)

im gona agree with u there gota love the randomness

but my all time fav has to be van dread as just about everything they say when they are fighting sounds really sus i laughed so hard my abs hurt at least ever second ep

Oh yeah, I did forget about Haruhi. The anime edition of that film they made was simply epic. It was even funnier if you read the light novel, so you knew what was going on in between all of it, too.

As for Green Green, I've heard a bit about it, and I thought I might check it out. Ratings look real low, though. What kind of comedy does it have?

It's really kinda sad, though. I've yet to really find something that was as epicly (yes, I just made up an adverb... or I think it's an adverb) funny as Fumoffu, School Rumble, or Azu.

The Lucky Star OVA was awesome.
Ichigo Mashimaro is the most consistently amusing.
SHnY whenever Kyon is stealing the show.
Azumanga Daiou - when Chiyo confronts Nyamo the morning after her drunken lecture is one of the funniest scenes in any anime.

Green Green. Shortly, the main story is about some love thing but it is rather on the backround, the side action is the main event why to watch it.

Yeh chiyo owned me, l was watching that scene the first time at work and everybody just started glaring at me, everyone knew l watch anime at work cuz l finish my paperwork very fast and have most of the rest of the day free, but that was when half the crew got the "Anime" disease after watching that episode, and when my boss found out about my habbit at work, he gave more work to me but he fails

l have it done very fast.

l'll add :

Lucky star, entire anime was amusing
Slayers (all seasons) a lot of funny scenes, the funniest ones are the ones where she gets embarrased for no reason XD
Haruhi, yeh it was funny
School Rumble first season was funny enough but second was a complete ripoff
Various other anime like Higurashi had some really funny scenes
Hellsing, Fate, Chobits, l think anime without at least one funny scene is a fail.

Battle Programmer Shirase.

It's a huge mosh-pit of uber awesome. But then, due to certain repetitions, I don't think I could stand watching more than the 5 episodes that were made.

I still have Lucky Star downloaded, but I was struggling to get through it, honestly. The only really funny part to it I had seen to date is the one where they're riding in the car and she goes overboard, or when Kona is in the manga shop and the guy is just crazy. Other than that, it was cute, but it really... failed to make me laugh... at all. I actually enjoyed

Nice find on Ichigo, though. Is it like Lucky Star? I think I'll try it out if it's different.

Yeah, my friend had me watch a few episodes of Gintama, and they were pretty epic (most notably the episode where they use the power of the Old Man weapon...). I'm still trying to decide whether I'm going to download it or watch it on a streaming site, though, because it has over 100 episodes, and it'd be a helluva download... plus it's not something where it matters whether you see it in good picture or not.

Those aside, I forgot to mention one rather funny anime: Seto no Hanayome. There was so much randomness and whatnot that it was simply hilarious all around. Sumomomo Momomo also had some really funny stuff in it (but it wasn't as consistent in that department).

You definitely need to add:
Detroit Metal City
Minami-ke ("kimochi warui..." and "Ninomiya-kun! Sensei! *squish*" among many other moments)
Planetes (the antics of the ninjas & office workers, Fee hankering for a cigarette)
FLCL
And throwing in another mention of GTO, very funny stuff.

And unlike Lucky Star, Ichigo Mashimaro isn't centered around anime references and whatnot, but just the girls and their antics. I thought Ana and her trying to hide that she can speak Japanese was especially funny.

Besides most of the aforementioned series....

I found Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei really funny, but it does get very dry after two seasons, three OVAs and an upcoming third season. All I can say is not to marathon it.

Another one is Kazemakase Tsukikage Ran, one of Madhouse Studio's lesser known gems. It's about a lady ronin who's really overpowered kicking ass.

Maria+Holic was a blast! I was glad to see someone subverting the whole 'girls Catholic school' thing.

To round off, Hyakko is seriously the BEST school life comedy I've watched. It's like Azumanga Daioh, but modernised; like Lucky Star without the otaku pandering. Good stuff.
Not to say I didn't like those series, but I just think Hyakko is better.

I think Maburaho, Chobits, and Karin suit the category of hilarious animes. All 3 of them imo were amazingly funny and had me laughing almost every episode.
