Hilarious Animes
colonelpanic:
Kannagi is a different kind of show from Minami-ke, there's no denying that. Kannagi is something of a narrative. Minami-ke is made up of episodic slice of life nonsense.
In that respect, Minami-ke is more like Hidamari Sketch, or (probably the best example of that kind of disjointedness) Azumanga Daioh. In other ways, (like focusing on the relationships of three sisters in everyday life) Minami-ke is more like Candy Boy.
I could come up plenty of these similarities to other series, but they have nothing to do with what I meant in my first post. (Pointing out a lack of that kind of similarity would be equally meaningless.)
The comparisons I was making were more like comparing the Simpsons to Futurama: where two shows are, or might as well have been, made by the same people. They might not be similar in any way that would appear in a brief description of the two shows, and some people may love one show while hating the other. Regardless, the humor would have the same sensibility even if one is a historic love story and the other is based on an Asimov novel.
The whole thing with the wand, for example, feels very much like something from Minami-ke. The part where it stuck to the table could almost have been cut from one show and pasted into the other.
In the end, I guess it's all a matter of preference. If you are looking for something that has the same sensibility behind its humor as Kannagi, I would say look to Minami-ke first. If you are looking for something that has a similar theme or pacing, you'll have to look somewhere else. Kamichu! maybe.

First things first, HOW IS CLANNAD (S1, S2 is sad, made me cry, even more than the movie) NOT LISTED?
Ones not listed and I have to endorse (I support others already listed, but not being here makes these take priority):
Clannad: made me cry from laughing so hard.
Ranma: I mean COME ON!
Cowboy Bebop! (Shroom episode, Fridge Episode)
Sorcerer Hunters
Tenchi Muyo! GXP Transporter
Otome Wa Boku
Tokimeki Memorial
Thats about all I can think of right now. Still, how can people miss Clannad or Ranma.
And I have to give props to the person who listed Green Green. I had totally forgotten that awesome anime. I can't believe I forgot about it.

Well, the stuff you listed isn't particularly all comedy. I'll admit that Clannad has its funny moments, but it spent most of the time (attempting) tear jerking. Anyways, just finished Hyakko. It was a pretty decent one. Didn't particularly make me lmao all the time, but it at least made me smile, a lot.
Zanzopan:
I really do not see how S1 Clannad made anyone cry. It was very light hearted and had funnies in almost all episodes. ~Afterstory or Another World I could understand, but S1?
And if you do a look on any of these on AniDB, see what they are classed as. All of the ones I listed are Comedies, with the exception of Cowboy Bebop, which those 2 episodes are enough to satisfy most people, and it is just overall an awesome anime and Tokemeki Memorial, which I found funny.
