And if you do a look on any of these on AniDB, see what they are classed as. All of the ones I listed are Comedies, with the exception of Cowboy Bebop, which those 2 episodes are enough to satisfy most people, and it is just overall an awesome anime and Tokemeki Memorial, which I found funny.

... Did you actually watch the show or read the anidb page?
No, I guess people have different ways of interpreting things, but if you'd actually read some of the tags and categories in anidb, it isn't just a comedy.
In my opinion, at the very least, it seemed to be a tearjerker in many sections. Not that I actually cried, but it was trying... really hard...

I'll have to add The Samurai to my list. I wasn't exactly rolling on the floor laughing when I watched it, but its certainly one of the more enjoyable bits of old anime goodness I've run across.
