Missing Search button on windows xp

i'm having a problem with my windows xp. usually you can find the "search" button on the start menu (along with run, settings, programs, etc) but now it's gone... wonder what's my problem? and how will i fix it?

you should be able to enable/disable the button by right clicking the taskbar -> properties -> start menu -> customize (or something like that, don't have a xp anymore :()

-> advanced -> scroll down to check search

MS search since XP sends data to Microsoft. don't use it.

ever since i started using emerge shell on my desktop i havent had a search function lol

Still waiting for your shipment to arrive? I thought you already wrapped your entire body in aluminum foil.
All you have to do is study it out. Just study it out.

Nah, I have my entire house wrapped in wave proof lining. Also, I live underground Beneath 3 meters of soil and 1 meter of concrete.

I'm hard core man!
