It's been clear for nearly the entire second page that HD release would be Ayako's, regardless of how long it ends up taking.  Remember that they already have scripts due to their Xvid release being done already, so it won't take as long as it normally would to finish the episodes from there.

The "debate" at this point is only on what to upload for the SD torrent, of which I'd still throw my lot in for Taka.  Batsu's video quality is atrocious and their editing looks like it needs a ton of work.  Having a better hardsub font won't save the sinking ship.

--- Quote from: Booyadude ---Honestly, I don't see a reason for any of the HD releases to be put up on Baka.

In order of my opinion on visual quality:
Batsu HD - Has more detail than Taka but is way too blurry.
Taka HD - As said before, less detail, but not overblurred.
Ayako HD - Best of the HD releases, though that isn't saying much.
Batsu DVD(spline36resize(1280,1720)) - A step in the right directions, but they really destroyed the detail here.
Yurrisan-Subs DVD(Spline36resize(1280,270)) - Pretty much obliterates all other releases(visually, of course).

Granted, I can't comment on who has the best translation.

Obviously Yuurisan's DVD release has the best quality video, but any Japanese speakers to comment on their translation, like:

--- Quote from: BenSicard on June 21, 2009, 06:07:42 PM ---Yuurisan worries me because they do have a habit of taking liberties with their translation, which is usually meant to make it work better in english, ended up making some things sound silly, at least that's how Jigoku Shoujo was, and that wasn't too long ago.

except on their Koukaku no Regios translations, which may or may not have the same staff working on it?
