Uh, no. Mac OS X was never based on Linux.

Well, only M$ Windows fan boys will say that Macs are a rip off from Linux.

And apparently that fanboy is using Ubuntu and play videos with the fucking Totem.

And yet is still completely ignorant about what OSX is. He's just as bad as a Windows fanboy. OSX, just like Linux is based off of UNIX. Well technically it based off of Nextstep, which was based off of BSD.

Vista + Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP) + knowing what the hell to do with it = Thank you very much for the food.
Seriously though. These days the OS hardly matters, it's all about the hardware.
[Edit] Oh, does my post make more sense now? Or does a general statement have to tie in with my personal preference?

LOL
You just mentioned a specific OS and then you claim the OS hardly matters?

Lol yeah. I read the comment, went back, read it again and was like, "What?"
Seriously though, this UNIX garbage is getting old. You might as well be spewing, "A minivan is a rip off of the original Model T because it has tires, can transport people, and is a vehicle." Like seriously... either make a proper argument or stfu and go fuck a duck. Stop flip flopping and trying to push the issue aside when you're proven false.
XP > Vista for video IMO. It's almost identical except XP is smoother and Vista starts making the machine warm and gets choppy once the heat gets a slightly bit higher. (Not to mention memory leaks from dwm.exe, but it seems they fixed it in the last service pack)

I stated my specific OS that I was using. If I had been using OS X, it would have been OS X there. If I had been using Linux, then it would have been Ubuntu or something. I should have probably added another word, "though".
