He probably means contact lenses ;)

Just trust me and put the font size at 30 or 25, your monitor's resolution/aspect ratio/size is different and I'm pretty sure most of us want to enjoy the video more than the karaoke.
Sosseres:
Seriously, 25-30 is too small since we are in the blu-ray thread. For a DVD it might work, but this is a bit higher unless I misunderstand things.

:D
I use regular glasses and I don't have a problem with them ^^
Do you like it now?
I find everything readable 2 meters from the monitor.
I'm done with volume 1. Tomorrow I'll finish the other two.
DaggerLite:
I'd say that they're at their limit of how big they should be. It's a good font for TV-viewing, though I personally prefer smaller fonts for PC-viewing.
Blue and red don't go well together in the same image in my opinion. I'd suggest two colours closer to one another. But whatever floats your boat, I guess. I'm also not too sure about the image quality. It seems a bit low to me, though the screenshots are taken in 1280xN. Perhaps the source ain't too good. Is it going to be a 720p encode?

A HD image is larger than an SD image, so the font should be relatively smaller than the image itself. However, in a non-relative matter of speaking, the font size should be the same in every image, HD or SD. In the end it's just a matter of whether something is played in the native resolution or not.
