I would prefer if there was Japanese Kanji/Kana for songs, but that's just me.
I think he's doing it alone.

I honestly need some help to learn how to encode. I don't understand all these codes, specifically ... how to find them FIRST and then properly use them.

Use a second set of fonts with lower sizes. Because your doing this for fans so you have to please the fans then yourself. Are you going to do two sets of font sizes?

http://www.doom9.org/ is your friend. :p

You can find most of these things with a google search. Look for "avisynth", install that first. Then look for "VirtualDubMod", install that 2nd. Then look for "Lagarith lossless codec", install that. The "AVSP", extract. "Megui", install. Open Megui and update it. Done, you have all you need to make a Blu-Ray FLAC release, Blu-Ray AC3 release, Blu-Ray MP3 release, and a TV AC3/MP3 release. I think you also have enough for Vorbis as well. Only thing that won't yet work is AAC.

So what about those Code lines? I already have MeGUI and most of the stuff you mentioned (will double check when I get home). I'm talking about like to adjust something or to remove rainbow colors and stuff like that, you need those code lines. You have to google these? And oom9.org is all "talk talk talk" and I get lost in there. I just want the code lines, what they do and thats it. Further explanation is gonna confuse me more.

Changing the subject slightly, well more like back to topic, but whatever. Since the list of groups and projects are growing larger, I made this site to track it. Blu-ray Fansubs

Oh, nice nice, good work and thank you, Zxcv.^^ Though, instead of linking to the fansub/encode group home page, I would suggest linking to their respective release page for each title.

I tried that but ran into a number of problems. Some sites change their links from time to time for some reason. The page will be like .../id1239, then it will .../anime-name (happen while I was doing it). The other problem was some sites have project pages but no links to the tracker. Or a few only distribute via IRC a have nothing list except the CRC numbers. And a few other sites don't seem to tag or categorize their posts or projects in an intelligent manner. But it still is under consideration.

Now I've finished everything :). I replaced that red Kristen font with the font of the OP/ED in a dark purple.

The video is a 1080p encode, but the script resolution is set to 1280x720 (like Thora's 1080p releases). The only thing I don't get is why you see the fonts bigger than me. Don't they scale with the video? The subs always occupy the same "part" of the video. And if you see them on a 30" monitor you aren't supposed to sit two inches away from it. Anyway, I showed the fonts to several people (not in my monitor) and all of them said that the size, color and position where fine. I also compared the fonts of other releases:

My font

Wasurenai used the same font in Otome wa Boku with the same size

And SS-Eclipse have fonts just a bit bigger than mine

Direct comparison

All the screens are at 1280x720 (don't count the black bars)

PS: I'm getting a 23-24" monitor probably next week, so I can have the 19" one for dual view :D

Most probably B-G is better. I think he even has karaoke. My subs are simple, with no fancy fonts, effects or anything. This is my first project done all by myself (except translation ;)) and I don't have much time to dedicate to subbing. The difference here is that B-G only has one episode since 28/3 and I have all 14 episodes. I got tired of waiting, that's the reason for this.

On the other side, I won't be home until Friday, when I come back I'll mux everything and upload it. I think I can get a friend who has ~600 kB/s of upload to help me seeding (I only have 64 kB/s for the moment) so it'll be faster for everyone :)

Be sure to cross-link it to TT as well. It'll generate a heap load of people (specially from Japan! Lmao).

Why can't you seed if it's licensed? I can't upload it to BakaBT but I'll upload the torrent to Nyaatorrents and put it in TokyoTosho too. Everyone can leech and  seed from there :)

Because I upload like a freaking truck, and if I get caught I'm really screwed =[ I mean, I just don't wanna get caught -weeps- I uploaded F/SN 1080p/flac after I downloaded it. It was 22GB in size, I uploaded ... let me see 221GB in a week or so. Ah, it felt so good to help all those Japanese people. More than half my uploads were going to Japan. I didn't focus on just this upload file either, I was helping out in BakaBT and other uploads I downloaded. I'm just effy about licensed content.

221GBs in a week? :o What do you mean by 'getting caught'? You say that if you upload too much the FBI will break into your house, keep you HDDs and put you in jail? Well, maybe that's a little dramatic. Your ISP sends you a warning letter for your upload? Here (in Argentina) you can upload anything you want that they'll never do anything to you. Some time ago they try to create some panic by sueing the ones who uploaded national music, but that's all. Who cares about that crap anyways? J-pop > all ;D. Even so, the connections are pretty crappy, it's impossible to upload 221GB in a week, so nobody really cares. The standard here in the city should be around 2-5 mbits down and 512-1024 kbits up. Although if you live in downtown (or near) you can get considerable better speeds for a few bucks more.

I went a little off topic there. I'll mux the files tonight and upload them today if I can :)

-pokes- did you get my PM? :| And yes, USA is somewhat bitchy and all so yea. They wouldn't break my house, but they'll freaking cut off my connection and well ... I struggled to get this connection.

Yes. Episodes are identified with chapters. Also each episode has chapters for Intro, OP, Part 1, Part 2, ED and Next Ep.

I couldn't split the mkvs with mkvmerge. It didn't cut the video at the exact time I entered. I still don't know why. I also tried splitting in only two parts at a time but it was the same. For example, if I put the splitting time at 1:32:43 mkvmerge cuts at 1:32:13.
