Has anyone seen the 1080p version of Coalgirls' Tears to Tiara? How is the quality compared to the 720p encode and how are KSN's subs?

Haven't watched them yet, but my understanding is this is an upscale and the Blu-ray source quality was poor right from the beginning. As for the subs, they had a number of errors in the original release and I don't know if Coalgirls fixed any of them. If they were fixed they are decent, if not Solstice has them beat.

1080p is an upscale, as it is with ALL 1080p anime.
Personally, I like the subbing job on it. I haven't seen any errors yet, and it does seem like very good editing to me.

All of them? How do you know that? Where did you get your information from?

Doesn't it look obvious enough to your eyes?
But sometimes 1080p is really better.
