Wait, Thora-qIIq confirmed for Bakemonogatari? Official joint?

Coalgirls will drop DtB if Thora doesn't transcode the audio (unlikely).

I asked Thora a few weeks ago why they don't use a lossless audio. They said something about people who has the audio equipment that can really take advantage of the lossless audio use a different decoder which doesn't support FLAC. They're waiting for TrueHD to be standard.
DTS on Evangelion 1.11 by THORA was super freaking sweet. My speakers support TrueHD as well.

I guess I would have to say, FLAC, Sudo (fansubs before official ones) and just 720p. I was just in doubt since comments at THORA's DtB entry suggested Coalgirls' release was less good than THORA's, I suppose it depends on what your preferences are...

I never really got further than episode 3-4 in DtB, I guess I'll grab Coalgirls' since the screens at their site shows significant detail increase.

newy, only 720p on MU so far.

BSS released Darker than Black S1 BD rips. They made corrections on the terms sudo used using R1 subs.

Time to ditch those coalgirls/thora!
