Only 4 titles are present in 2) and 3). So even if we are not able to find th official files, it won't be a great loss.

I have all four of them. Only Teacher's Pet hasn't got chaptered archives, I've downloaded this release from two different sources and they are both the same, one folder with 192 images (4 chapters), named like so: Teachers Pet ch01 - 001-002.jpg. So I doubt there's a chaptered release to be had.

I've made two manga offers previously, and I noticed there doesn't seem to be a real standard whether or not to offer something archived or unpacked in folders? The only limit I ran into with one of them was that uTorrent created a torrent file that was too big for the upload system, so I had to archive the folders.

Thanx for downloading them. You can offer them if you like.Right now i am making the description for the 74 titles  ( almost 30 done ). Some 12-15 titles are still downloading ( anime-eden ), so it'll take some time. I'll start offering the titles after i get hold of all the releases.

I'll discuss about the official naming problem later.

Basically, if you're going to offer an archive, offer it the way the group released it, with the same name, etc. Otherwise other people can't seed it, because if you recreate an archive, it won't be the same as the one you downloaded.

Ahhh... Of course (similar to original filenames with series, somehow missed that link )...

But I doubt this will be a big issue with the the one I mention above, it seems it isn't available in another form.

Seeing the size of most manga torrents, I doubt this seeding aspect will be such a big issue anyway, but ok, for the sake of consistency, I get the issue.

So if a group released a series as abc_complete.rar, which contains folders with are or are not seperately archived, you need to upload the .rar, in principle? I like to see file structure myself, and I've seen several different ways of offering manga on BakaBT.

So as to show my fail...

#Overlook archiving if the manga is very short (a oneshot), or if the scanlator(s) have released the entire manga in a single file. In these cases, unzip the file, but do not make any further modifications to folder structure or file names.
# If the scanlator(s) release a manga zipped by chapter or volume (assuming there is more than one), retain the archived chapters and offer the files in that state.

Now that most of the files have finished downloading ( from anime-eden). i would like as to how the files should be named.
(Since i downloaded them from anime-eden, the file names have changed).

I am suggesting:

[Name of the manga] v[volume number] ch[chapter number] [ShoujoMagic]

For example:

Lample v01 ch01 [ShoujoMagic]

I am suggesting this only for the ones i downloaded from anime-eden. For the rest, i have kept the original file names.

Anime-eden is the sister site of mangafox. Its a free download service for registered users. It is well known in the anime/manga community. It serves both anime and manga. It had all the official files. Only thing is that they changes the file names for the downloads. That's why I am asking how should i rename the files. The ones which could not be found there ( 4 titles) will be uploaded by macros74.

So I unzipped the single file, nothing else. See also the official Cinderella torrent.
Edit: damn, there are differences for Cinderella...

I don't see a torrent for Stroke Material.
Could you look at Teacher's Pet also, seeing the list from htears above?
Never mind, I checked Laplacian myself (and will check others), but the archive names on Laplacian also don't match the official torrent names, like for Fiancee Shitai.

Ironically though, the Fserve in question where I got the files (with incomplete filenames apparently) is the same one they use as an example on their website to explain how IRC works...

Fserves are not official. they are just some users who are sharing the files. The group does not allow any remove/alteration of files. Changing the names is acceptable( at least that's what their rules say ).

Official torrents are present for Fiance Shita and Cindrella Boy, not for the other 2 manga.
