Most money wasted "on" this month

<< < (49/53) > >>

BLAST420:
$182.55 - FLCL Blu-ray Box
$47.17 - FLCLISM ++ art book

Although I don’t consider that money necessarily “wasted” given that both are things that I really wanted, and before anyone asks FLCL blu-ray looks fantastic with the only problem being the packaging which sucked.

$500 over the last two months on the following:
(click to show/hide)5 Minolta SRT bodies - a silver 101 - fully functional, a black 101 - fully functional, a 200 - shutter hangs up if it's left to sit while cocked, a 102 - mirror return is a little dodgy, and a Super - lens mount is a little loose and the AV string needs adjustment.
1 Minolta XE-5 body - fully functional
9 minolta lenses - 24mm f2.8, 28mm f2.8, 35-70mm f3.5, 45mm f2, 2 50mm f1.7, 1 50mm f3.5 macro, 1 58mm f1.4, 1 135mm f3.5, and 2 vivitar lenses - a 28mm f2.5, and a 100-200mm f4 with a 2x teleconverter
1 Hi Matic 9 rangefinder - meter needle stuck, otherwise in great shape
1 Olympus 35RC rangefinder - fully functional
Bogen 3029 tripod head
Developing canister, changing bag, and various other darkroom accessories.
Developer, fixer, and photo flo.
40 rolls of Velvia 100
40 rolls of Fuji Acros
20 rolls of Neopan 400
40 rolls of Superia 800
20 rolls of Fuji Pro 160S
All the film is fresh aside from the Velvia, which expired 18 months ago.
I had saved the money to get a Lumix LX5 and then went slightly insane.

Still looking to pick up a few more lenses, a good film scanner, a monitor suitable for photo editing, and an Epson R2400 with a ciss.  Unfortunately I'm just about over budget, so those will have to wait a couple of months.

Nice collection you got there!

tomoya-kun:
$260 on Manga, though it doesn't feel like that much of a waste.  My cheepo friends just read scanalations

mrx168:
The usual $200 to $300 on petrol for my car.

Then there is the $130ish I blew on the Saber Triumphant Excalibur figure...
