It's a good game, but not as good as 6. 6 seriously needs to be remade.
Chrono Trigger needs a remake.
BTW: There was a remake of FF1 on the GBA. They totally redid it with SNES graphics. It was pretty good.

Half-Life is already being updated to the source engine, I can't wait for Black Mesa to finish.
Settlers 2 is quite an amazing game. I used to play this demo I had for hours. I'm sure there's a bunch more that I just can't think of at the moment.

Back when I played Oregon Trail, I only found 2 parts to be fun. The hunting and the river rafting. I really didn't give a fuck if one or two people died of scurvy or dysentery.
If they re-did it with today's graphics, they'd have to do some serious work on the in-between. Like maybe put some Indian attacks in there, where you'd you'd have to circle the wagons and FPS some Indians with a musket or something.
Either that or turn it into a visual novel, to make it more personal. Have cut-scenes where "Mary" is coughing up blood...
