Hottest/coolest male anime characters

Hottest = Makoto from School Days, if getting all the action isn't being the hottest, I dunno what is.
BUt when I think about it I don't really think too hard about male characters so its all just random and for coolest, I'll just throw in something crazy because that is cool. Ladd Russo from Baccano, the crazy sadistic hitman who just loves to kill <3

Then what about the mercenary guy in Elfen Lied? Some people say he was the most interesting character in the show...

That guy was fucking hilarious how he was always like "raaaah I'm gonna get you bitch" and then gets his ass handed to him every time.
And now, after finishing Eden, I'd have to nominate Takizawa Akira. His whole demeanor is awesome.
