well the end of the episode does hint she doesn't, more likely Natsu will go nuts if she does, he already lost one of his dear friends, I'd reckon he will get angry at Erza cuz she promised him a fair fight afterwards, he is obsessed with defeating her in combat, their magic types are completely different but Erza has much more combat experience tho Natsu has much more firepower, Erza has excellent tactics, Natsu goes random, they are a good team, and a perfect combat enemies to train, Erza can have fun while natsu train with her.
With those diffrences in their power and tactics they are an even match, ,i don't think that Natsu would ever win with her in a spar fight, she would have to be his sworn enemy for him to get really serious, otherwise he would be lucky to make a draw.
Also Erza has a huge fanbase and she IS one of the main story characters, wouldn't be a good idea to kill her off here.
but the drama was done and the damage taken ;]
