I think Laxus will have his ass handed to him mainly because of that rune user, he of all three of the trio has some conscience.

Look mate i sense some Laxus hating but i think he is my fave char so far and if you know his background you ll see he is a gentle person............. deep within himself.

I know he sure was a kind person from flashbacks, something must have happened to him to change him like that, I personally don't hate him, and Natsu is just all out to fight him, i can understand him, Natsu's pure entertainment is in fighting strong opponents, be it enemy or friend, a good fight from the bottom of your heart is a good fight anyone can enjoy, Laxus just does something wrong right now, dunno why but I bet those two will solve the puzzle :]

their fight will be entertaining indeed ;]

From the OP i knew Mirajane would fight seriously at some point in this arc, but she is damn awesome, I think she could be stronger than Erza.

Mirajane is quite strong she was S rank before the incident with her sister.I think that the strongest guy in fairy tail apart from makarov is laxus and mystogan although there is one more mage in fairy tail who is even stronger than makarov but wasnt made the leader because of a particular reason.......read the manga he is there.

Actually it's not a spoiler. The mage was once mentioned though not by name. Rewatch episode 10@19:40:

So let me just put it like this..
1. Mystogan
2. Laxus
3. Erza.
4. Makarov (he counted him in.. Can we actually count him?)
5. mirajane

Those are the 5 that can do it.. (Exept for Mirajane who could.. Not sure if she gets her powers back now..)
Now I'm not sure if he counted Makarov or either Mirajane.. Tho.. To what she said in Episode 10...
She wasn not counting herself and makarov.. leaving 2 mages not known who are able to do S-class quests as well....

Of course, if one included Makarov it would be 6. In the manga the 5th mage was named, I wonder why it wasn't the case in the anime though...

makarov was thinking about giving the guild to Erza or him, if I remember, but he doesn't want to just yet cuz he things both aren't ready, especially Natsu lol

Hmm. Anyone else feel like Fairy Tail will need more filler episodes later? Rave was 35 volumes, and Fairy Tail has 23 at the moment.

I just feel like the anime is right up the manga's ass.

Fairy Tail has had amazingly little fillers so far, it would be pretty awesome if it managed to finish before going down the Naruto-Bleach syndrome.
