there are mechanics that allow water to disrupt electricity, underwater melding is done not with just electricity but the system is designed specifically, you can use water to even avoid death by lightning which was proven scientifically, water can disrupt electric discharge, and by disrupt I don't just mean nullify but simply interfere with it's flow, if you splash water onto electric stuff you cause a disruption in electric flow leading to fails or power, fires even, and other things, you should finally learn that one word has more meanings that just the obvious, a word "point" for example has more meanings that 1, "Disrupt" is also not a single meaning word, and it does not mean nullify.

dis·rupt
   /dɪsˈrʌpt/ Show Spelled[dis-ruhpt] Show IPA
–verb (used with object)
1.
to cause disorder or turmoil in: The news disrupted their conference.
2.
to destroy, usually temporarily, the normal continuance or unity of; interrupt: Telephone service was disrupted for hours.
3.
to break apart: to disrupt a connection.
–adjective
4.
broken apart; disrupted.

Hrmm seems to me your the one confused again, and for refernace water doesnt "disrupt" electrical circuits its shorts them out, meaning that electricity formed bridges within the circuit that it wasnt meant to thus frying components or sometimes starting a fire as you put it. And all of your justifications revolve around water dispersing the electricity's flow, minus welding as under water welding doesnt use electricity.

I'll stop at trying to explain what I meant, lets just get back to the show.

I was kinda surprised at how Mirajane reacted just then, it was probably her only reaction she could have had at the time, I don't think she ever lost her powers really, she just doesn't want to use them.

I will never doubt Erza's strength and will to fight for what she believes, she is an amazing character, and like a cockroach, hard to kill :)

I dunno who is stronger, Mira or Erza, but I'm quite sure if they sparred, it would take a while to determine the winner, I'd like to see some more Lucy development of her powers, she has quite a lot of allies in spirits, although their looks are completely deceiving, and she should get some spirit summoning training, I don't doubt her celestial control but maybe she is one of the rare wizards that could summon more than one spirit at a time ?

i like how she dresses too ;)

Lol, any kind of clothes would look good on Lucy.

And didn't she already summoned more than one celestial spirit at a time? Like all of them at once when trying to save Loki. Maybe she can even make a pact with the Spirit King himself somewhere in the future. That would be her ultimate power.

she exceeded her limit at that time endangering herself for him, she was quite exhausted after that, it was an exception that time, I think she could make a pact with the spirit king, perhaps if she got all keys she can make that pact, don't really know, would be overpowered though but sure handy in some situations i assume :)

Edit ep 46:
damn you Erza, why do you constantly have to do this ?

and Laxus, you were an idiot from the start, you noticed it far too late XD

46 was pretty good. 47 looks like some special animation team is working on it like 166 of Shippuuden. I don't think we've had animation like this in Fairy Tail yet. Hopefully, all the other things will be good as well. You just gotta love the 13th track of Fairy Tail OST2. So heavy..

Nirvana arc's going to be covered in the 2nd year of the anime airing.

Are Mistgun and Laxus already going at it or is that already over?

Yeah only because of what he looks like... WTF really felt like slaping the hell out of the storyline creators at that point.

On the Mira/Erza part, they did say that Erza always lost to Mira when they where younger or something like that can't really remember, and Mira was already an S-Class mage when the whole insident happend with their lil'sister.

He's just thoughtful of Erza. Furthermore he has other matters to attend to ;) to which this small struggle just pales in comparison.

I'm just glad Erza didn't go all emotional, and shook it off saying she will deal with it later :)

Yeah, I read that on ANN. I guess we can expect a full anime adaptation unless this suffers the same fate as InuYasha.

;D

Fairy Tail is far from becoming One Piece unless Mashima HIRO steers Fairy Tail in a different direction. From what we've seen so far I'd call Fairy Tail a decent shounen series, at best "good". Maybe it gets better in the stuff we haven't seen yet.

I strongly recommend the directors take the path of STICKING to manga :)
