If you go back to where Laxus was trying to take over the guild, at one point Mystogan's mask came off while he was fighting Laxus and Erza saw it happen and subsequently his face as well. Mystogan explained that he was pulled from an alternate world/dimension and has been aware of Erza's and Jellal's connection since before joining Fairy Tale and it is the reason why he has always kept his face hidden when ever he is in or near the guild.

Interestingly enough Laxus was already previously aware of Mystogan's entire story and origin and how he ended up here which makes me believe that Master Zakorov knows as well and was probably the person who originally told him to hide his face in the first place.

I think Igneel will come to him when his life is in extreme danger, from the short scenes of him hes always worried and gets angry easily....and when he does appear it opens up new arcs since he's forbidden to be in contact with humans and such

Since the main antagonist been built up since the start is Zeref perhaps that will be when.

the dragons have been forced or something to their own realm, so the only way to find Igneel, would be to travel between realms, unless they start breaking the law that prevents them from coming back :P

How do we know there in there own realm and not just residing in places that are nearly impossible for humans to reach easily? When they showed Igneel it just looked like he was chilling in a volcano or something.

Yeah, hes in a volcanic region, and as Grandine showed (By appearing in the form of a ball of light before Igneel), they can quite easily hide themselves if need be

I am just about to start Fairy Tail and wanted to ask here how many of the episodes are officially dubbed by now?  I understand the series is not complete yet...and I think I read that not all of the eps out are dubbed but wanted to ask here. The style and art of the series looks fantastic from a peek at the first ep, and it is just the sort of epic series that I really enjoy, with a nice mixture of fantasy, mysticism and a great world for it all to take place in. Glad to see a good strong thread for it here. :)

You make it sound really good (comparable to Lodoss). It's just your typical shounen action series. Regarding dub, I don't think there are any existing at the moment as it hasn't been licensed for the English speaking market yet.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Not even if anyone has started dubbing them at all. Their are 69 ep out already. Personally I recommend watching them in their original audio, with subs of course. The personalities of the characters are somewhat lost in the dubbing process.

Only reason this couldn't be even remotely true is, your forgetting that Gajeel and Wendy corresponding dragons is also missing; no matter how strong anything can be you really think a horde of dragons couldn't handle it if it was really a threat.

If anything, here's something to think about; all the dragons around the world disappeared on the same day and year Lucy's mother died........ Have some fun with that thought ^_^

not Natsu, but the Dragons care about some laws, hell, natsu can break realm barriers if you ask me, don't care, as long as Lucy is there :)

I dont know if its as much the dragons dont want to violate some law as it is that they feel that the humans have to handle the fight on their own. Atleast thats what i got from the brief convo igneel was having with the other dragon way back.

OK thank you, re the dubs. I have found some but I think they were an Asian release, not sure where they came from.

It wasn't supposed to be airing until tomorrow regardless of the earthquake, but I'm not sure if it will air at all given the situation in Japan.

why wouldn't it ? good enough reason would be to set minds off topic and relax, fillers are in, that means relaxing time, enough reason for me if they will have time to air it at all.
