Well, the whole anime is all over the place. This episode was just a display of how bad things are.

Proof? Havoc10k thinks this anime makes sense!

BTW only reason I think this series makes sense is thanks to the VN :P, I feel sorry for you poor bastards that haven't read it.

exactly what l was expecting tbh, it all made sense from start that this will happen, this show starts to be one big joke, the season comes to an end in 8 eps, this means 1-2 arcs and now the real game begins.

oh and i was wondering when Ange was gonna come in....  (did a little reading before the series came out so got some spoilers :P)

(click to show/hide)Ange is the six-year-old daughter of Kyrie and Rudolf, as well as Battler's half-sister. She could not come to the island in 1986 due to a sickness. After the events of Banquet of the golden witch, she is raised by Eva after she returns alive from Rokkenjima, and studies to become the next family head. However, she is put through many hardships particularly due to Eva's belief that her son George should have been the next head. Before her death in 1998, Eva passes down the name of "Beatrice" to Ange, who becomes the new Endless Witch. Ange attempts to commit suicide by jumping off a building so she can be with her family, but is stopped by the witch Bernkastel, who offers to help Ange solve the mysteries on Rokkenjima. Despite being the last witch of her time period, Ange, like Battler, does not believe in witches. However, she does understand witches along with their strengths and weaknesses, making her denial of witches very dangerous to them.
