On a serious note, I'm not too happy with couple of the scenes that they skipped(Loser Flag) but its passable....Anybody else really pissed about them not animating the loser flags?

The original broadcast was full of mistakes. Mistakes normal studios would fix. DEEN apparently is the oddball in this regard. Thus, gg seems little meaning in doing BDs when the broadcast version isn't that much worse and dropped the project.
As for Kanon, it's a guy, even if he doesn't really look like one.

in the backflash scene about this scene, tehre is no censorship with mosaics, it wasn't deen that put up censor, the show was on most channels broadcasted at a relatively late hpour so there was no need for censor on that part, TV channels did it on their own, is what was explained on one of the blogs someplace, but if BDs have censorship, whats the use of releasing BDs at all then ? ppl want to see it properly as it was meant to be shown, instead they can simply stop at DVDs or fansub and be happy, on the side note, Deen doesn't always think in priorities, thank gods (if you belive in any) Higurashi wasn't spoiled by this crap.
