Its not really not that hard to get into the VN. Just skip episode 1, because that's just the slowest part, and the anime covered it fairly well.

Ya and then get 10 slaps in return and then start a huge fight. Then dad will get angry and smash another playstation (maybe ps2 or psp this time). Last time we fought like crazy he broke my p1 but he got me a new ps2 after that. :)
