How did they get to that conclusion, if "she" realy made that gold appear, why must it be a human anyhow? it could be a spectre, a ghost and they get a stupid idea its one of em...

It was speculation; logically, few of us believe in witches, magic or the supernatural as a matter of course, so if you're confronted by a situation like that, you'd seek a way to explain it that conforms with how you view reality. Which is more likely? That a witch materalised and showed herself to Maria, or that someone made use of Maria's rather unstable nature to deceive her into thinking that she met a witch?

That's a guy, yes :P

someone can answer my earlier question ? or am I totally ignored ?

It's based on a set of VNs by the same people who made Higurashi. Are they similar? Due to the direction of this production it's hard to say; the quality really seems to suffer in comparison to Higurashi, and so the similarities may be merely superficial. We'll know in a few episodes though.

Well then can u explain the gold? Either its fake and that twists the whole story, or it got "magicly" on, which means the being has to be supernatural.

What...? Most of the cast aren't even certain that the gold exists; it's speculation. Klaus and his wife know that it exists in some form, but that alone hardly proves any supernatural doings.

--- Quote from: Havoc10K on July 10, 2009, 06:07:06 AM ---ok, l havents started watching this, l'm not even DLin it yet, l might consider it if you explain one thing to me:
What is this Anime realtion to Higurashi ? is this about some more distant future events going on or what ?
or is that just made that same way like Higurashi with no real relevance ?
For instance l liked Higurashi cuz the first season was questions, and the second was answers and salvation. while third is Finale (only a few eps)
if this Anime is story wise like in Higurashi l might consider watching it so please explain a bit of detals to me, use spoilers, l usually read them anyways.

It is not really related to Higurashi, it's an independent series.
Spoilers regarding the nature of the series:
(click to show/hide)Umineko is constructed the same way as Higurashi. There are 4 question arcs, and the future second season will probably have 3-4 answer arcs.
Further spoilers, probably shown in episodes 5-8:
(click to show/hide)Each arc contains the two day period on Rokkenjima, where the murders happen. Battler, the main character, argues against a certain someone whether the crimes are committed by humans or by supernatural means. This is referred as a chess game between the two.
