Utawarerumono OVA
« on: July 05, 2009, 03:14:35 PM »
Just watched the first one and it was pretty meh, but i loved seeing all the characters again <3
The series was pretty good so i have high hopes for some OVA love!

BTW boobs in that OVA <3 i don't remember seeing that in the anime series that's for sure ;o
I remember watching the series in English dubbing and I do enjoy the English voice cast a little more then the jap, but still all in all, much love to this show <3

Does anyone know if Thora still intends to do the OVAs? In their IRC-channel was written in their topic that they would do it but that info is gone now :(

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Not sure if they are, but i got it off of Wakku's site which is usually very high quality.  I think this one was HD 720p H264/AAC

I think they will, in the end, but perhaps that's just wishful thinking. Still, it's only three episodes, and having done the entire series already, the odds are favourable.

I haven't read up on the OVAs, but after seeing the first one I assume that they are based on parts of the game that were cut from the anime? While I expected as much, I was hoping that they'd introduce something new. Ah well, the game certainly has enough material to draw upon, so things'll probably work out in the end.

And the uncensored bath scene didn't hurt; here's to fanservice for the faithful  ;)

Is there any real point to this OVA series? I seem to recall that the TV series was pretty much wrapped up

Again, the OVAs appear based on material from the game that was cut from the anime.
