Bakemonogatari

God damn, the blu-ray version of this show is fucking incredible. All we need now is for someone to convince SHAFT to finish their fucking work before airing. I really hope they do the rest of this series.

And it was an even more incredible ratio booster when it first popped up. :)

He should have just snapped that reticulated exacto blade by clamping his teeth and looking down.
Furthermore...
WHAT IS HE DOING WITH (click to show/hide)Senjougahara when he's got Hanekawa right there?!?!? :o
The humanity :'(

Just marathoned this, bloody awesome!
Also yeah, as mentioned in earlier posts, I had the initial feeling that those colour slides were in there to play on viewer emotion, as well as another way to portray the feel of a scene, for lack of a better way to describe it than has already been done. Red and earths = warm, blues and monotones = cold, basics of what I can remember. An average person wouldn't need to know this, in order to feel it.
Noticed some similarities to old/indie films with those text cutscenes, I have a feeling they were really there to add artistic effect, even if it was influenced by lack of funds; it seemed a good way to deal with it, I didn't personally see it detracting from my enjoyment.
...neither did it stop me from pausing like a madman just to read through. *whistle*
Who knows? Perhaps some text scenes or colour scenes were there entirely to troll us subtly? In which case, HA. It has certainly opened debate, which turns to publicity.
Of course, these are just my opinions, not used to these forums (or any at all). D: Usually read through posts here while I watch anime, because you guys make me laugh. Might make it a point to mark out which ones. =)
Looking forward to Kizumonogatari, although it's no Senjougahara fix...
Tatsujin:
New version of Bakemonogatari from Coalgirls featuring 10-bit. Be sure to download the new CCCP-BETA version to take advantage of this 10-bit feature.
This is part 2 of the 3 part 10-bit experiment. As before, nothing is missing from this. If something seems to be missing, it was missing on the BD.
Fixes follow
Re-encoded from BDMV to 10-bit crf (600 MB/episode saved)
Attempted to fix the banding issues prevalent in the first release.
Fixed ordered chapter issues
Used ED4 in episode 14 instead of incorrectly linking ED3
Fixed the typo of “eiein” in OP1
Fixed a few scene bleeds I could find. It may not all be corrected, however.
Replaced a Hitagi picture with Tsukihi and Karen because they are the cutest girls in the series. Keep dreaming. Hitagi > All.
What I did not fix is the script. If you did not like it, do not get it.
Enjoy.
