Who's the one to the left?
(click to show/hide)

Nadeko Sengoku.

By the way, did anyone watch or hear about 5.5? Is it an interesting retelling or anything worth watching?

PS: Can't believe I'll have to wait so long for the next episode.

I only skimmed through it, seeing as I figured it'd get subbed. Evidently that's not the case, at least not anytime soon, so I guess I'll watch it properly later. From what I saw though, it was mainly a recap of the earlier episodes, with what might have been some additional material. Don't hold me to the latter though, as I only spent a min or so on it.

The Sururuga Monkey arc will span three episodes as well (new OP next time, I guess), and if the same holds true for Nadeko Snake and Tsubasa Cat, that's 14 out of the 15 episodes accounted for. Alternatively, the latter two will only span two episodes each, bringing the total up to 12 and leaving the last three streamed episodes for Koyomi Vamp. This seems more logical, since it's unlikely that an arc will bridge the TV airing and the streamed material.

OT: Hitagi is the new Mio :-*

I just found a piano cover of the ED from a dude using a keyboard application. It makes me wish I know how to play the piano. He also has covers of the OP and other animes like FMA and K-ON.
Why fart and waste it when you can burp and taste it.

Let's just say that Hitagi's presence on the last page was... prominent ;)

Wow, now that you mention it, only one non-Hitagi avatar on the entire page. Impressive!

Also, since I didn't think dredging up the long-dead Audiosurf thread was worth it for one song, here's a quick Ninja Mono run on the new ED. Got a little jittery at the end, and made some stupid mistakes, but for the most part decent. (Stealth, Clean Finish - 142854)

Im really lovin it! tho The "one on one" conversations are looking montonous (not the conversations themselves. . .but the anime being about them)

its like someone asking:
"whats bakemonogatari about?"
---
"one on one conversations. . . you should watch it tho. . .its fking awesome"
---
"mmm doesnt sound interesting"
---
"fuck you man!"

well the convos are all fun and what not, but the way they show them is more like GITS-like, a lot of info poured into the brain with facial exprecions that are simply flawless.

it's more than worth a watch, it's a GOLD MEDAL

I'm nom nom noming on your tail btw. Take a look at the next highest Ninja Mono. =)

I don't understand how you got 10k more without playing on Ironmode..

Hahaha, I was wondering when you'd catch me and stomp all over my score (shakes fist at Pre-parade and Don't Say 'Lazy'). I actually forgot to tick the Ironmode box, because I'm a gigantic idiot. Afaik, it actually doesn't make a difference score-wise (at least for Mono), so long as you don't hit any gray blocks (which means a restart anyway).

Edit: Some times I really hate myself. Just went back and did Don't Say Lazy and got Stealth, Clean Finish, and Ironmode - 136974. Of course, the ONE TIME I don't have fraps up. God damnit.

Also, anyone know if Staple Stable is available anywhere?

That's the thing, I've never run into a song where Ironmode will net less points. I've gone though it multiple times and can't find areas where I can skip blocks to maximize points.

What's your Steam ID btw so I can add you. I know I have a Stealth / Clean finish on Pre-parade, but do I really have one on Don't Say Lazy? I'll need to check. Also, I don't mind necroing the Audiosurf thread if  we want to continue this.

Edit: Reply to Edit: I do that all the time.

Steam ID is DrewMcDuffy. I guess you didn't have one on Don't Say Lazy, but before I re-ran it like five minutes ago you were two spots ahead of me. And yeah, I'd love to necro the thread. I just didn't think that one song was worth it, so I dumped it in here instead. I can die happy if I finally have someone to compete with on anime OSTs, all my XBL friends only do "normal" songs. Bah.

Now now, this phrase got me really interested... what does that mean exactly? (And please forgive my off-topicness   :-X)

I'm in despair! This forum thread where no one understands my SHAFT reference has left me in despair!

Actually I did think it was an allusion to penile erection, but I just wanted to clarify...

Despite your new clue I still feel kinda uncertain of my guess.

It's a reference to "Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei", another SHAFT/Shinbo anime (as is the "I'm in despair! <Insert despair causing thing here> has left me in despair!" comment.)

I started reading that and didn't get past the fourth chapter for some reason. I should probably go back.

She's popular. She is one of my popular anime characters, too. But she won't be my avatar ;D though she could deserve it. Hitagi is new and therefore interesting but Sheryl is my top^^

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.
