The constant text was completely missed because I didn't want to pause the show every time a half-second wall of text appeared (honestly...can the Japanese even read fast enough to catch this?).**

* just how many Anime you belive is Belivable ? l know what you mean but you could leave that comment out.
**reminds me of some GITS comment, listening to Japanese dub and following the on-screen text is easy, it's how l learned Japanese (spoken) to the current degree, so l can easily tell when there is a mistake in TL.

remember japanese don't need subs :]

l'll take a look at this anime later on, if l will be able to free up some space (wich is dubius ;] at least for the time being :} )

Don't say anything about the text until you have seen the first episode. You will know what I mean. Tons of text that appear so fast that your eyes barely even recognize it as text before it is gone.

As far as being believable, there is a certain degree of believability to most anime. The idea is that they have to be able to sell you their make-believe world and make it seem real in order for the storyline to have a greater impact. If Vampires exist in the world then they should be explained, if people are immortal there should be reasoning behind this, etc. etc.... This story explains nothing. It really reminds me of 'Kill Bill' in a way, where there is no explanation or story (at least not one the audience needs to care about), everything just IS.

Mind you, these observations are based on 1 episode so they are far from accurate, and they are nothing more than speculation. I'll watch some more tomorrow, but I have been driving across state for the past 6 hours and I need sleep :D

Havoc10K:
what you percive as "Belivable" looks to me you are willing to read and recive the meaning of the told story, wether it hits you or not is a different matter, for instance, you sympathize with a character and situation is because the story was built the way it made contact with you and you sympathize with it, in other words you belive in it to a certain degree, it's like reading an intresting book, l'm currently watching Xenosaga and since l played the game (wich l suddenly want to play again) the anime keeps me constantly in suspense because it was intresting, tough l don't understand why Shion in anime looks so much different fromShion in game :]

l'll check this anime when l free up some HDD space anyways.

Aneroph - sorry, no offence, but your objections sound like nonsense to me.
Should be explained? What the hell? If a story needs expospeak in order to establish the world, then most likely it isn't a good story. Seriously, there's absolutely no need to explain the premise prior to the story, which is what you seem to expect(since you've seen only the first ep).
I honestly can't say anything if you're bored by the dialogue and find Senjougahara annoying though - I just didn't think anyone would.
Now, the flashing text is a different matter - but if you don't want to pause to read it, just treat it as a visual effect, because most people watching this on TV won't be able to read it anyway, and it isn't necessary to enjoy the show.

On to other matters, Frostii released first ep. After a month. Good job, I guess.

I won't say anything else until I have seen more of the episodes (4 eps is the lucky number before I'll drop a series anyways), but when I said things weren't 'explained' enough, it was only partly what I meant. There are plenty of other series and games where things are never explained until further into the main story, but my comparison with the movie 'Kill Bill' still feels pretty accurate after 2 episodes.

Tatsujin:
Bakemonogatari <-- probably the one I am going to watch. I'll avoid everything else, but well .. my "other" feelings came back ... you know, the one that tell me not to watch it until it is over. Hmph. Need to make a decision.

Answered your question, Ane.
