Sora no Manimani
« on: July 09, 2009, 06:16:47 PM »
I didn't had any expections from this, and thought that it will be some generic moe show, but now I'm really hooked on it. Very good light comedy/slice of life show if you ask me.

Anyone seen this? Thoughts?

It was obvious it wasn't to be just a moe show, since the original was a seinen manga running in Afternoon.
I'm still downloading it now, but I'm a slice of life fan, so I'll probably like it 8)

So I finished first ep, and hey, not bad at all. Sure, it's not going to be the best show of the season, not by a long shot, but it's still enjoyable entertainment. I'll be following it, but mostly because I'm a big fan of slice of life series.

My sources disagree with yours, but that might be due to accounting for different timezones. Anyway, there doesn't seem to be anything airing the day between Sora no Manimani and Aoi Hana, be it Thursday or Wednesday.

well. . .I finished the first episode.
It still cant rate it.
Ill keep watching tho .. . Theres nothing on my watch-list right now. . .soo ill guess ill be waiting all the freaking week for
haruhi/aoi and this thing.

I didnt like TKK's sub tho. . .they didnt sub some parts of the ending. and sometimes it seemed out of place.

Yeah, TKK seems to be a failgroup. But I thought you watched raws, because if you don't, then you should pay no attention to airing days, and rather check when the groups release their subs.
Oh, and why isn't CANAAN on your watch list? Just asking. And if you like this, Umi Monogatari doesn't seem to be bad idea.
Not to mention, there are still some interesting titles to be aired/subbed.

I might follow this; it's whimsical and silly, naturally, but slice of life has its appeal, and the cast might grow on me. Thanks for the reminder of Aoi Hana though, the raws should be out by now.

according to anidb:
haruhi 2 airs the 10th . . .and well since its haruhi. . .the 10th is out. (its like code geass that was out like 8 hours after the airing)
aoi hana airs the 9th . . .but since its not haruhi its out the 10th or 11th.
this thing it aired on the 7th (today its the 9th) . . .so say it comes out 2 days after the air. that means
i have friday for haruhi
depending on how they sub probably the weekends are gonna be releasing.

so that leaves mon. tue. and wed with nothing to do
=p

ill check canaan.

I think this one is good enough that somebody else besides TKK will sub it.  It's just too funny to leave alone.

7th episode was good. Nice mix of comedy and drama. Poor Hime, how the things are going it will probably be Saku X Mihoshi.
And lol at Edogawa guy, he always make me laugh  ;D

Oh, and I noticed that they changed their clothes in ending song... again  ;)

Well, Saku and Mihoshi are the main protagonists. Funny it is, in some moments I want them to pair up and in other moments it's Saku and Hime... (Hime is cuter)

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Hime reminds me of Sawachika Eri. If you followed School Rumble's story up to the very end,
