Don't know how frostii looks, but Saizen & Ignition-One's release is pretty good, they make use of AFX/ASS typesetting which are both hardsubbed. The typesetting is usually fine to anyone who don't mind them being hardsubbed. There are some signs which could be better though.

Subtitles itself seem to be fine, timing is good, personally I'm annoyed by the use of "-dani" after a word spoken by the old man, it bothered me every time while reading it. (softsubs ftw)

The video quality varies a bit, where some dirt was present in earlier encodes it changed somewhere around episode 11 where they started to smooth it a bit more, but overall the quality is good.

While we're on the subject, is anyone willing or able to upload Saizen&I-O's SD/XviD/avi release and Frostii's SD/h264/mp4 version?

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.
