Iranian jets - deathtrap
darkjedi:
Providing spare parts is the first step in making aviation officials become responsible about it.
Tupolev didn't get used as intended. They got overused because Iran was being thrifty with their Boeing. A responsible behavior, I might add. Their Boeing's still fly even 30 years after U.S. withdrew support for it, right?
Not that everything they've done is proper. :) Corruption is inherent in any countries. It was especially worse in Iran's civilian aviation because of the general lack of optimism associated with the lack of support from other countries.

so the problem is the upkeep and maintenance on their russian planes.
Just not selling them boeing materials doesnt stop them from maintaining the russian planes they are using even if they are inferior or more prone to breaking.

Indeed it doesn't. It's just that selling Boeing materials to Iran helps Iran solve their maintenance problem better.
mgz:
thats the point im making, IT DOESNT, it just means once the boeings start getting used and start crashing there isnt an excuse for allowing the corruption kill even more people
darkjedi:
Yeah and I was just reiterating you lol
Btw we don't know if Iran will still be negligent once it receives enough spare parts to fawn over.
