Da Capo episode lengths...

...to cover all the bases, I did a search here on the forums before I posted this, and found nothing, I've already been to anidb, and it seems to back me up, so here goes:

Does anyone know why episodes 1-7 of Da Capo are less than 19 minutes, but all the rest are more than 24? In the torrent, the files are markedly smaller than the rest of the episodes (appropriate of shorter episodes), and definitely support the short length. All files have both open and close, but no preview... the preview can't be the issue, because the other episodes I've checked don't have them either, but are 24+min long.
anidb shows all episodes at 24 minutes, and they are usually pretty accurate... are they wrong this time? 

If anyone can help clear this up for me, I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

if youre talking about the first season of Da Capo the answer is pretty much easy, first eps didn't revolve much and didn't cover enough of manga/game and wasn't very particularily intresting, after ep 7 further eps covered more information for those that like that kind of things, the plot moved on rapidly, therefore longer eps, there is no real other reason really.

Note: Most of the Episodes have 15 minutes of anime followed by a 5-10 minute 'Side Story' which uses the same characters but in a different setting, or a (live action) pop-music-short.

I'm guessing the fansub groups decided to cut those videos out of the early episodes. At least HQA&AonE did, I don't know about Soldats.

l liked all DaCapo seasons, you just have to try and understand it.
