Wolverine's character design fails epically, but the Ironman trailer actually looks pretty cool. If every episode is animated like that, color me interested.

Just found out about this here.
Why should you care? It's animated by Madhouse, and written by Warren Ellis. Can't say I like most of Marvel comics too much recently, but damn, that sounds promising.
It sounds promising, indeed. A top 3 animation studio and one of the best comic book writers around.

The problem?  The Wolverine promo video looked absolutely terrible. Couldn't even imagine it being worse (art style, animation, *everything*).

agreed.  Wolvy looks too much like Vega from Street Fighter (He's too thin/tall/skinny and not hairy enough!).

But Iron Man's was kickass

Some news for those who care. ANN.

That is completely fine with me. I can't wait for April now. It's great that we're getting to see Iron Man first. It would seem it's only going to be a 12 episode series, but that's plenty of episodes to have a good series.

Then I suppose Blade and X-Men will come later when Madhouse has finished these two projects. I'll be anticipating those as well. Especially Blade.

Blade could be cool

But for Xmen... I dunno... Wovly looked a little too much like Vega for my tastes.  (He's suppose to be tiny and muscular as hell! Come on!)

I just hope they won't deform the ladies of X-Men... and if they keep Wolverine's appearance as it is in his own series I'm gonna facepalm ;_;

Takeshi, according to your link Iron Man and Wolverine will be 12-episode series.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

I guess I missed that, thanks for letting me know. I edited my post.

I doubt they'll change the character design for Wolverine. If only they had done a similar design for him as he was in the Wolverine vs. Hulk Movie. (not the best picture)

But a bit more asian-oriented. Americans are gonna have a hard time identifying themselves to him. Heck, even I'll have a hard time identifying myself to him.

Also, I'll be watching the dub. I don't think they'll screw it up with Marvel behind. And I don't recall Gotham Knight having a lousy dub. But most of all, I'll be watching the sub. The Fansub Wiki states that Sony? will be subbing Iron Man. I wonder what that means.

Gotham Knight had Kevin Conroy as Batman (AKA, the original Batman from the animated series :P)

I wouldn't be surprised if Steve Blum was the VO for Wolverine as he did the VO for him for Ultimate Alliance and some of the cartoon

Then I have some hope for a good dub.

Though if Steve was the VA for the original Wolverine, it's gonna require some adjustments if he's going to sound genuie when voicing the Asian Wolverine. By the looks of the videos I've seen I'd imagine he's got a (Darker than Black) Hei-kind of voice.

He wasn't the original, but he's been the more recent animated Wolverine.

He did was in Hulk Vs.  So here's a little sample

Wolverine does not look very "Wolverine like" though could be good, may check out Ironman. The X-men adaptation could have really great potential  if handled with care. As for Blade. Not going to bother, too many vampire franchises in pop culture these days.

blade a badass ? hes a pussy, he has all the advantages, daywalker, raw brute force, super techs, it's all overrated, old school troubled vampire hunters with raw skill and no super technology, thats the real fun, especially when they are super uber cute panty shot girls lol ;]

In that light every superhero out there is overpowered.Blade is only half vampire so in a 1 on 1 battle with a vampire he d lose.
Well according to many vampire shows, the vampire is stronger as he grows  old.So a 1000 year old vampire would practically kick his ass.
Oh and MAKE WOLVY HAIRY!AND ALSO SHORTEN HIS FACE!
