Do you know what "no groups" mean? ::)

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

it means that there are VHS rips with English subtitles in this case. How good they are, I don't know since I haven't seen them.

No group means No "group" subbed it. And no "group" released it either, for that matter. There may be VHS'/DVD's or whatever, but no "group" ripped/encoded/released them.

Actually, 'no group' in this case means there's no known group which did it. If you click '+' button next to each episode you'll see vhsrips are avaible...they are even verified by an Anidb client.

I realize this is a rather old request, but figured this would be the best place to post.

I've got an old (2000-ish) encode of Shin Hakkenden 1-26 that I could share.. It is likely too low of quality to make it on BBT tho. 352x288 DivX mpeg4v3 25fps.. Stereo mp3 with 22KHz or 44Khz sample rate and various bit rates depending on episode. So, yeah, low quality.. but I haven't found it elsewhere else I'd have replaced mine.

If anyone is interested in it or feels like trying to tackle upscaling it, let me know and maybe we can work something out.

In accordabce with AniDB data, it's the only rip available :(.

Are those not desired on BBT? IMO... its better than nothing. =] They're certainly watchable. But, I can see BBT wanting to maintain a standard level of quality...

Well, I'd be happy to try uploading it. Never created/submitted a torrent before. But, it would be good to know if I'd be wasting my time or not.. if it'd just be rejected due to old/poor format.
