Nope. Androids are too ethically sensitive. I don't think I'll have easy time publishing and protecting my work. I'd go for NPC's and bots that are as good-thinking as human players without cheating.

I might also try to go beyond the scope of video games by introducing the AI to a military, so that my R&D can flourish and proliferate better.

People can have more fun time playing video games... more flexible game environment, less dependence on human input or human opponents, (having to play with the same retarded n00bs everyday kills fun somewhat) to mention a few.

Or by the virtue of chaos theory it could blow up the whole world too. Sounds fun enough, eh?

Hmmm,
-I would first buy me a Koenigsegg CCXR, Hell Yeah

. That's about € 1.500.000 before taxes, let's just say $ 2.500.000 would go into that.
-The ultimate gaming pc with games and any internet better than my current deal.
-A house so that I don't have to worry about student accomidations anymore

(almost impossible to get housing here)
-Help family with their homes and overall stability.

I would have quite a bit left $:-\$

-I guess alot of the rest would go to charity, bank & other investments and ofcourse to government (TAX).

The only extreme thing I can think of doing is building an underground bunker in an attempt to live through "Dooms Day"

First, secure a continuous income.
Use 5 million to start up a small company. Hopefully, this succeeds and brings in mounds of more money.
If the company turns out well 100 million will go to scholarships for kids who can't afford college.
If not, 10 million goes to a friend at Stanford who wants to start his own hedge fund company.
If the friend fails at creating a hedge fund company I'll buy up some successful high end restaurants.
Second, "give back" to the community...
100 million in scholarships for gifted kids who come from monetarily disadvantaged families. My HR department will come and test them to make sure they're intelligent and after they graduate I'll have them work for my company.
Third, time to splurge.
Have a mansion designed and built for me by a professional architect with different rooms designed in the style of different countries. Basement gets turned into the ultimate man cave: arcade machines, 7.1 SS, 108" LCD TVs, gaming consoles current gen and retro with their best games. Could build a ridiculous computer with 3000 but because I can I'll build one with 5000. Bar with bartender always on duty. Beautiful maids and a single butler named something butlery like "Jeeves" or "Alfred", he'll be nearing 70 years old so he doesn't mess with the ladies :D.
Finally, become wrought with guilt at my debauchery of gaming and maid chasing and make myself a better person. Also do a few things I've always longed for.
Learn Japanese, German, and Arabic.
Get enough masters to teach me enough martial arts I can make my own.
Travel the world.
Learn a brass instrument like the trombone or saxophone.
Find people who have brilliant ideas but have been dealt bad hands and give them enough money to start their companies/dreams.
Give a random person 300 million dollars.

First: build the best computer I could possibly have (SSDs, i7 Extreme, WC, etc) with ATI cards just for EyeInfinity Technology (yes I want 6 goddamn monitors with 2560x1600 resolution) 7K+
Second: buy myself a nice car, probably a customized (paint job and all) BMW and Nissan Skyline R34 GTR 200K+
Third: build a moderately large house from the ground up with a large backyard and I liked the idea of putting several 100/100 lines together... I'd have to have rooms dedicated to gaming, movies/anime (via a nice high res projector), and a work/study room 2-3MIL?
Fourth: build a server (don't know how much I'd have to figure out how to build one first lol)
Fifth: get my direct family members a nice house and 25MIL split evenly between them, my dad a nice truck
Sixth: invest 25MIL in a tech company (low risk)
Seventh: pay for college and study several things 300K
Eighth: donate 7MIL to my choice of charities
Ninth: open my own online computer hardware/mod retail store... that way I could have all the parts I wanted and make money off them, also advertising Total 50MIL
Tenth: awesome audio system throughout various rooms in the house is a must ~35K
Finally bank the rest (<200mil)/give some to close friends and relatives, donate to charities occasionally

Step 1: Buy a large amount of land roughly two hours out of the city centre. (roughly $20 million)

Step 2: Use $200 Million to secure funding (Bank Loans/IPO's/Private or Corporate Funding).

Step 3: Use the funding to build state-of-the-art/Eco-Friendly/Carbon Neutral housing. In this mini-city each house will have as small a foot-print as possible (Carbon/Energy/Economical/Environmental/etc), there will also be community sporting and recreation facilities, food greenhouses, schools and universities, medical facilities. The mini-city will be as self-contained as possible. Aim for a final population of around 250,000.

Step 4: Rent out the houses and allow private industry to rent out offices and facilities. Use this money to pay off the funding as smartly as possible.

Step 5: Use the continued profits to find disadvantaged members of society and allow them access, particularly to the educational and medical facilities.

Step 6: Pick a second city and rinse and repeat. Possibly aim for each subsequent mini-city to have a larger population.

From that $300 million, roughly $150m is going to taxes, so hire an accountant to do the taxes on it and help manage the money. Hire a second accountant to check the work of the first to make sure he is not stealing. Next, help out various family members and choice friends get houses, rainy day funds, etc. (should not be more than $10m to make sure that they never have to work). Buy a house, set aside enough money to complete my education, get enough money squirrelled away to allow me to live another 30-40 years of a upper middle class life style without the need to work (in case stuff fails). I should have about $100m left. I would complete my education to a PhD, use my knowledge of technology to make some smart investments in the tech sector, and watch as I completely screw up my investments (I am getting a degree in CS, not business). Luckily I will still have enough to live comfortably until retirement and a good education to get a good job.

- the first thing would be to hire a lawyer(or what ever they are called, basically they are lawyers) to smartly invest part of the money to make more money.
- then buy and apartments or homes all a round the globe, not spend on that to much, dont need a castle, just a place to sleep now and then.
- then also buy a villa like estate in my home country, but in country, I really love wild look of my country, but the rest is crap
- then invent new religious occult, to get more money and see how stupid people can get. Spread that occult around the world and take it over, just to show that people are stupid for sure. And that would net be one of these end of the world, alien, cosmic power, one almighty god involving religions, that's outdated, people now need something different, just Christianity and followers dont get it, the only thing human needs is to believe and relay on something unreal.... I think that would be a life long job for me
