I don't have any dates, but at the end of the last episode, they pretty much said "here is what season 2 is gonna look like". Which means it's probably already been green lit by studios, and may be already in production. If I had to guess, I would say the usual 1 year wait, so at the earliest, Spring of 2010. Thus my dilemma on the manga. :-\
I blame the Haruhi delays on Kadokawa entirely.

Doh, was just watching that part over, and they say "much more to come" on the screen at the very end.

well i dont get why its censored then, or really what is. Someone mentioned something about no panties ?? Regardless i usually dont watch stuff thats cut, even a little bit. So unless anyone knows of/when an uncut version is out guess im missing this =(
I still dont really get WHAT was cut. Someone mentioned a kiss being blocked by an eel?

Well, it's standard censorship. The onsen/swimming episodes are censored as usual. I think a lot of people say that they do not wear panties is because we have never seen a skirt flipping up to guarantee a pantyshot throughout the series.
