I doubt there was ever a risk that anyone would become so engrossed in this as to require a counterbalance to detract from the immersion. While the concept of service is relative, the yuri theme should provide enough innuendo.

I have no idea what it is about this series, but I'm completely hooked. I thought it would be like K-ON, totally light and fluffy, which it is... but the matches so far are pretty intense (even though I can't really follow what's going on). There's more to this than just yuri and moe :P

Now only if episode 9 would finish downloading in this lifetime. It's being agonizing slow x.x

GoGeTa006:
saki has to be paired up with nodoka!

i just got my super kawai mahjong set. . .of 144 pieces. . .but it was cheap enough to not have instructions.
but i shall print them now!
is the mahjong in the series a "special" type?
i know theres american, british, chinese version. . .is there a japanese one or something?
anyone got th erules?

relic2279:
I could be wrong, but I think it's just the rules/scoring that are different. Not the pieces. I own a mahjong set myself. I JUST started to play some online Japanese mahjong. I'll let ya know how it goes when I learn :P

If anyone can find, or knows of a single player Mahjong game that you can buy/download that isn't solitaire or 'matching tiles', let me know heh.

Sosseres:
http://www.4windsmj.com/ Seems fine?

Series uses Japanese rules from what I understand GoGeTa00006.
